@@troublishone that comment just shows me ur just copy and pasting what u see on the internet… the jackets actually have a solid D core there offense and goaltending are just atrocious, Jake bean and gudbranson are the current 3rd pair for them and those are two solid defensemen, he is a solid defender and will show that on the bruins, u need to actually watch something before running ur mouth again kiddo, instead of reading something on twitter and believing it….

@@cam6293Jackets have the second worst GAA in the league, and their starter has a league average save percentage. A defensive defense-man struggled to make that line up, and his advanced stats are not good either. Hard to watch him play when he can't even make the line up.

I'd say a little bit of it was people sitting there listening to A DEAL FOR LINDHOLM IS IN THE WORKS, NO WAIT NOW IT'S HANIFAN OR WENNBERG OR SO AND SO SUCH AND SUCH!! and then you get peeke and maroon. I personally want to wait to see what these guys can do. there's been plenty of players where fans have groaned on and on and those players have had their success. I still remember quite a few people talking shit about coyle before he played here and hall as well and they both played fantastic. (THIS IS NOT A DIRECT COMPARISON OF PEEKE, MAROON, HALL AND COYLE.) Sometimes a change of scenery and a change of how coaches play players can be huge so I'm hoping that's what's in store for peeke and if not, you move on in two years anyway.

He was one of the top shot blockers in Columbus so he should do well. I am a Bruins fan living in Ohio and have seen him play quite a bit.

6’3” big biddies right side defenseman. Not only gives us mush added depth but don’t forget, we got rid of szorbil who’s co tract was up after this year and was 27 years old for a 25 who is in the first year of a 3 year deal. He’s bigger and due to his age has a higher ceiling than szorbil. So it was a very low risk move with very high potential return. Great move Sweeney. This guy and maroon gives us some more sand paper and depth, and leadership (in regards to maroon) to hopefully a nice cup run. I agree we all want a home run trade for a top Center, it that’s a move you do in the off season as a trade for a top Center is gonna cost a lot to get obviously. Which means you will be moving roster players due to cap constraints and you will fuck the chemistry and there’s not enough time to find it before the playoffs. If I was the bruins I would consider looking at lindholm again in the offseason and for some reason if that can’t be done, I would consider looking at Brady tkachuk. Ottawa is a bottom feeder that with the players they have should have taken that next step this year and they didn’t. Maybe going to a contender like Boston and going back home to the states will draw him to Boston. Plus the fans will love his style as he is bruin type of guy, and his contract is awesome $8.25 mill for 5 more years and he still hasn’t reached his peak. The bruins should swing for the fences for a guy like that, but that’s an offseason thing. But until something of that nature happens, GO B’s!

$2.75M though 25-26, that’s why a lot of fans aren’t thrilled with this trade. There was talk Columbus was gonna buy him out this off-season. I’m cautiously optimistic. Maybe the bruins see something nobody else does and it works out well. Steep price for 6/7 guy playing half the year if not.
