I first heard this song while flying from Los Angeles to Birmingham; Michael Card was singing it. Within three lines, I was weeping openly. The song resonates so deeply! Thank you Andrew for being brave & transparent enough to voice the experience of so many...even if we are afraid to admit it.

I saw an online article that compared this song to Rich Mullins' "Hard to Get". Yeah, now I know why I like both songs and am drawn to them when darkness seems to be screaming and God seems silent. Not that He would need to, but maybe he's just catching his breath to breathe new life into us. Sometimes I forget that Jesus was called "the man of all sorrows".
