Andrew looks like a guy very comfortable in his own body, the complete antithesis of the much more successful George, which is so sad in many ways. If only George had had a little more of Andrews ease and self assuredness he'd still be with us.

I just wished George kept Andrew around in his new band. It would have been better for George not to go alone through life 😢

He didn't go alone though life; it was Andrew's decision to leave and both knew there was a trajectory to GM's career that Andrew recognized and didn't feel he wanted to be part of it and wanted GM to achieve what Andrew knew was a special path.

He did. Even released a solo album, " Son of Albert " Unfortunately nothing came of it, even George gave Andrew as much plugs to have Andrew become successful in his own right. He stated years later even, talking about Andrew, that he was genuinely surprised at the actual depth of that album. Guess Andrew felt at some point that George was the chosen one, made his peace with what he achieved, a huge amount, and retired. Andrew is actually a lovely guy, and I've been watching Wham and George from the word go, he always came across like this, and if there was anything fake, it would have showed by now I think. Badly miss George, his humor was becoming more pronounced as the decades rolled on, no doubt he would have said incredibly witty knowing the Wham story was being brought to the public domain.

I love these interviews but i wish they wouldn't bring up George Michael's sexuality in every interview. Always talkibg about him being gay and such. I dont thibk that had anything to do with Wham.

I hear that. But I think George's sexuality AT THAT TIME, contributed to how his life would unfold. To me, George being gay isn't the story, the world around him is the story. Things have come a long way, and there'd be far less hoopla about such a thing today.

I think many girls were really schocked to find out so I think is very important, as most of the fans are girls. At that time he could not come out as his career would have not been the same

The main audience of Wham! were young girls who were in love with George, so girls need to know. Besides, Wham! tried to project a man vibe in their lyrics, so the videos and it worked, so no one figured out, and it would have been bad if their popularity fell for that.

Abnrews is not mixed race, parents were born in the Yemen he is Jewish Georges father was greek his Mother Jewish which makes George Jewish which he says on his family tree google it. Georges maiden name was Angold she was Jewish which makes George Jewish.
