Very nice! Have a cammed 11 RK with faring. Ohlins rear, Race Tech spring and valves in front and the bike is fantastic 1 and 2up.

What a transformation! I dig the look you made a lot. Those risers and fenders and fork treatments are dope. I'm surprised there is no aftermarket ABS you could install. Nearly every word I heard gave me new insights to Bike building. I heard terms I never heard before, so I felt like a student being mentored by a master. Thanks Andrew!

I tried to buy those CVO wheels for my 2021 Road King Special and was told they are VIN specific. Is there a way around that?

The CVO wheels have CVO badging which makes them VIN restricted. The “fugitive” wheel is available to everyone 🤙🏼#supportyourlocalpartsguy

Beautiful unique bike the only thing I would do is swap out the plastic rear floor boards for either blacked out or chrome. Other then that that's an awesome looking unique bike that makes it your own and not a clone of everything else on the road. Great build and thanks for sharing.

That fairing works well with the Road King. I can relate and agree about going with more torque. Chrome looks great on this. I personally like the exhaust setup on this compared to the shorter pipes. Ever thought about just running speakers in the saddlebags only? Would it be enough or deliver adequate sound without adding the weight of speakers/stereo to the fairing? Lastly, has your dad ridden this yet?

The saddle bag speakers alone aren't great. They are more of a supplemental sound system. No, his dad hasn't had a chance to ride it yet. I'm not sure Andrew will let him. His dad won't give it back!!

The suspension and upsized wheels, +2 inch forks (and fairing) are everything. I'm guessing this Road King now has way more lean angle than any other stock M8 model.

Great story. 2020 my pops passed and left me his 2009 RK. It as well was an old man bike, CB and all. I got it all up to date 2 months ago. Truck hit me in DTLA on Mother’s Day. Bikes repairable but in bad shape. Ride safe.
