Manny Marroquin is as humble as he is talented. This dude is the gold standard of mixing and taste/groove.

Shout out to Manny one of the realest engineers in the game, along with Mr. Scheps! Thanks for taking time out to do these, there is always something to learn & it's amazing to hear it coming from these legends. Check out my Spotify Playlist I made for all of Manny's work called The Chameleon - Manny Marroquin! Peace + Love. =)

A simple ”thank you” don’t quite cover my feelings on this, but it’s the only thing icould think of..so thank you so much guys! Both episode 1 and two have been incredible and i cant wait for 3 and 4! His emotinal approach to mixing is the 🔑The only thing that could top this is a deconstruction or from start to finish series on PM with Manny 😁 Thanks again guys for giving all of this to us🙂

The Alicia Keys story blew my fucking mind. At 17 I was still shitting my pants. Also, the humility in Manny to recognize the profoundness from such a young woman is why this dude is the best in the biz.

LOVE IT!! Man I don’t want to get technical but I am a techno DJ/producer and I have mad respect to all of the engineers that make all pop music artists shine...and manny pops in almost all songs that get my attention that I hear on radio and although people from outside may think my type of music may not seem valid or technical,..it is actually very technical...and I wish I can understand more about this glueing and ungluing to make the bass and kick sit together...especially if they happen at the same time like say on the 1...I’d love to either hear how you deal with it manny in a real life example or hear deeper explanation in the next discussions ...love you puremix for putting this together...thank you Andrew🙏🏼 you guys are the best!!amazing content!!

I have gotten so much out of listening to possibly my top 2 favourite mixers having these discussions (what a trip, we are blessed), but let me just say that in a world of so much placating and backing down in the face of blatant awfulness, hearing Manny speak plainly about Kanye's Trumpism and taking that stand just makes me that much more appreciative of the guy. It's always nice when you get to enjoy your favourite people in music both as artists and as people.
