Exactly. TBH I’m thinking that Kendrick said this general line about white comedians in order to instigate a reaction out of entertainers. It seemed like a move where he wants people to snitch on themselves by having an outburst online which then exposes their true feelings about black women and black culture. Kendrick is really playing mind games and knows how to play his cards. Schulz could’ve kept going with the bit about rappers being hypocrites about treating women good. That would’ve been a funny bit and a way to weasel out of the apparent Kendrick diss. But no, he said all of this weird shit and inserted himself which further proves what Kendrick said in that verse 😂 It’s crazy because there was more to that white comedian line in the following bars but of course they didn’t bring that up because that requires too much critical thinking. SMH.

And now that Andy's gotten so comfortable talking like this, see how quickly he went to degrading and dehumanizing a black MAN. Not just any black man, either, but Kendrick Lamar himself. See? People like him… honestly is our fault. No other people talk down towards their women like our men and vice versa… when do we take accountability for this? When do we learn to love and respect each other enough that other groups wouldn’t even try to FAFO
@RyomenAyeni225Ай бұрын
Idk, this isn’t a blck men vs blck women issue, that’s been over exaggerated and over represented in the media to the point where people ignore literal statistics This is an issue with us letting yt men and women feel WAY too comfortable, we need to start holding them accountable and not allow them to gaslight us with the “it’s just a joke” excuse, we need to be on a “you can come into my house, but take your shoes off first and be respectful” mentality
@maxine5427Ай бұрын
@ lived experience triumphs those statistics that have so many flaws and biases. Those are the same statistics that stereotype black men as criminals. Those statistics are calculated by the very system that means to oppress us. I’m 35 years old and I have yet to see proper unity among black ppl. The harsh reality is that we don’t treat each other well at all and then expect other groups to do so. We can definitely blame the system but once we acknowledge that when will we start being the change? If you don’t keep your house clean you subconsciously carry those bad habits wherever you are. We play a large part and always rush to hold them accountable but never ourselves. We gotta do better period. It starts at home
@RyomenAyeni225Ай бұрын
@ while I understand that statistics aren’t always reliable, the truth is this idea that we need to fix ourselves is a myth The truth is we are more likely to stick together throughout life than not, the reason you don’t see that is because those images are not what they want, negative images are presented more often to break us and help us to develop inferiority complexes so we blame ourselves immediately even when we aren’t at fault I’m tired of this over presented belief that we just need to “course correct”, we are the only race convinced that we need to “work on ourselves” instead of fighting back, that’s a lie, Infact we don’t hold yt people NEARLY as accountable as we should, we are too quick to blame ourselves instead of the actual systemic issues at play Unity is the way, but that unity wont be achieved by constantly putting each other down and using respectability politics, we need to start setting boundaries and start calling them out on their crap even if we are considered “sensitive” It doesn’t start at home when that home keeps getting vandalised by outside forces, those outside forces need to be dealt with To make it clear I’m not trying to discredit you or your experiences I just think you aren’t looking at the bigger picture and ignoring where the issues originate

And inknow people are gonna say "ot was sarcasm, stop bwing woke blah blah blah" i have nothing agaisnt raxial humor WHEN ITS FUNNY. He used sterotypes to shoot at kendrick not realizeing he is talking about a whole group and a culture of people. He and Akaash benefit from using AAVE when it suits them. Theyve used rap as part of their stand up. As comedians they shuld understand use of language to paint a picture or make content that isnt usually used in real day to day function. They are better comics than this. Even their racial material is classy WHEN ITS GOOD. This was so left field, i dont see the funny in it.

i guess funny is subjective. lets not forget. kendrick is the same guy that brought a white girl on stage to rap a song that has the n word in it embarrasing the girl probably for life hontestly just becouse kendrick got his values messed up. if anything, kendrick shouldnt be talking anything race besides his personal experiences and especially not making rules becouse we saw what happened with that girl on stage. i dont even need to watch your video, the way youre obviously biased in this shows how much these jokes get to you lmao. they have dark humor and have had darker moments but when he attacks your god kendrick its over. its jokes bro and the way you sound like you couldnt even begin to explain the definition or the technicality.
@choporchubbzda1Ай бұрын
1st off the white girl who said the N word on stage embarassed herself, there is no “rules” to it, it’s called facing repercussions to your actions, what happened to accountability? and even at that Kendrick NEVER made any type of big deal about it, the criticism largely came from the media & the culture itself. Secondly there’s a difference between making a gay joke with your established homie and weirdly joking about making love to a man “consensual or not” because he criticized you on a song. Third off you are right about funny being subjective, but where’s the humor in this? What’s supposed to be funny? Where’s the punchline? The creativity? This isn’t comedy, this is 2016 edgelord banter, this is Leafyishere comments, grow up a little you might learn more about life
@cosemer9614Ай бұрын
@@choporchubbzda1 mostly agree with the first two points. i never said it was top notch comedy? the leafyishere comparison is hilarious and also kinda true, it may not be true comedy but its still humor, a bit these comedians call it wich it clearly was. THATS the humor, wich btw. you pointed out yourself. your answering your own questions. but your point was that it was really low effort wich i got and kinda agree wich what made it even funny to me. and yes, the podcast is called FLAGRANT of course its edgy banter smh. do you think at all? also, before saying someone to grow up, i want you to look at your own profile picture and compare it to mine, wich i didnt even bother to put one up becouse compared to you i neither dgaf nor do i have the time in my own life to do or think about it since you also talked about learning about life wich btw, you still need to learn the word subjective, becouse there is people in this podcast, including schulz, making and laughing at these jokes, way older than us. there is no self consciousness with you is there? hypocrites seem to love and defend hypocrites i guess lmao.

It aint that deep lol Kendrick will become a punchline if yall keep going with this

You're all so sensitive 😂 I love that Kendrick gave everyone a "holier than thou" after the colonizer line. If you knew your history you'd understand why it is incredibly stupid. R.kelly stuff? Charlemagne should spend a few years in prison for watching that. However Hip-Hop media has become the biggest cry babies around.

If I've learned anything in life, it's that Americans turn everything into race. I know, I lived there too. I'm all for us minorities getting what's rightfully ours and has been since before white people came over, but to hate on a black man because he didn't stand up for an entire race when dude is clearly TRYING to be funny... Yeah, chill. It's not any of our jobs to stand up for millions of people. Everyone needs to learn to stand up for themselves if you're able to. Waiting around for others to speak on your behalf is something I don't like. I don't need people speaking on my behalf because we share the same color of skin. Wtf does that have to do with anything? MY OWN BLOOD is closer to me and yet they're the worst people I've met. Am I gonna defend them solely because we have matching skin color now? No. Same blood? No. A bad person is a bad person. A good person is a good person. Bad and good are subjective though. But my point is our skin color doesn't define us. At some point we have to all move on and start fresh. Can't doo that if we all start arguing again bringing up old ish. What I mean is there's a time and place. Go to your elected officials with these concerns. Tommy down the street can't do anything about reparations. Get it? Yeah, stop with the colors. Go after the rich. That's our true enemy. The top of the top. They control everything. Not the poor white lady who grew up poorer than you but because she's white she's automatically an enemy. That's racist on its own. So yeah, everyone is being racist. So chill. US needs to see how the rest of the world operates. And I mean other first world countries, OBVIOUSLY.

Andrew was right about Kendrick working with them two guys from South Park. They been known to be racist.

‘Known to have been racist’ ≠ having edgy content
@ASAPxMATTАй бұрын
@ having a white man make a black character named token is worse then Andrew talking about a black woman being violent. Yet ppl wanna say one is acceptable and the other not.
@jkarnold100Ай бұрын
@ if you don’t see how that is satire at existing writing tropes than I don’t know if you’re being serious or not
@ASAPxMATTАй бұрын
@@jkarnold100 comedians write tropes and do satire so is you serious? Both are doing comedy and tell jokes. But everybody wanna be double minded.
@jkarnold100Ай бұрын
@ this wasn’t satire though. The naming of a character, who is only there as a side, after a trope is an extremely on the nose bit of satire. This comparison is bad and you should feel bad. It’s not ‘double standards’ or whatever bullshit you’re saying, Schulz is just bad at his only job, comedy.
