To be honest, for some reason I don't even remember, I went in with a bad attitude when I first turned on the movie. I think I had a memory of watching trailer and not really liking it. Boy was I wrong, this is one of the best coming of age movies I have seen. It was not over the top and ridiculous like most LGBT movies. I also loved that it wasn't a romance movie.
