Tate criticises IL but has never been there, never visited it. I think he's not aware of it (one of the few things he's genuinely not aware of), but I think he would love Tel Aviv if he visited. Many very sharp individuals with a sense of humour, a caring nature and good looks there. He could strike an interesting conversation at 3 am at an outdoor bakery, things he cannot do in Europe. I know as Christians we mostly have an alliance with Israel and Jewish people for the most part. But this Candace/Tate issue should be looked at in two parts, Candace has unwisely taken the side of the Tates, because of her awakening during and after her time at the DW. When she talks about the Frankists she is correct with that story. I'm an Orthodox Christian and have known about the Frank story for years. A lot of what she says is off the mark, and at times is on the money. Off the mark with the Tates, on the mark about the Frankists. If you look into Freemasonary you will see Frankists but Sabbatea infiltration of all the religions. I often felt he should go. I never felt Indonesia was a safe place for him. I think he is very aware of iz lame. He’s a smart man who lived in an iz lam ic majority country with mo’s all around him so an intelligent man like him wouldn’t just walk in ignorance. Because of his living situation he probably knew more about iz lame than Christianity and one thing he definitely knows is Indonesia doesn’t recognize Judaism as a religion to be legally practiced in Indonesia so how could he defend it! It’s very odd. Of course, there are some Jews who are friendly to both Jews and mo’s equally but many seem to have the attitude that Christians are harmless so they will take out their anger on us when the mo’s attack them. @@stst77 Jews are very diverse. I feel that the harshest opinions against Muslims are held by some Jews who are coming from Muslim countries. European Jews seem to be less averse to Islam, until they see the threat. You shouldn’t forget that not so many years have passed since Christians became mostly friendly to the Jews. It takes time for some Jews to warm up to Christians, because of what was happening in Europe for centuries. Also, what doesn’t help is the desire to convert the Jews. When a missionary comes to an intersection in Jerusalem and screams that Jews should repent and stuff like that, it doesn’t help. What a lot of Jews see is that Muslims present a physical threat, which is pretty bad, but at least it’s obvious, while Christians present a spiritual threat and it’s less obvious. It is the case that if a Jew converts to Christianity, aka believes in what’s written in New Testament, he is lost to the Jewish nation. This seemingly harmless Jews for Yeshua concepts is a straight path to assimilation and losing Jewish identity. And yes, Israel has Jewish majority, but if most Jews convert to Christianity, Israel will become irrelevant to them as a Jewish state, only as a place of worship for Christians. As long as Israel is not under Muslim control, it’s all good for most Christians. For Jews to feel completely good about Christians, Christians have to abandon the idea of converting Jews. I don’t think it’s possible. Even if Christians try to imagine what it feels like being swarmed by proselytism from a different religion (imagine having a tiny majority country and the largest and most powerful religion is trying to convert all your children into their religion), Christian theology will not allow Christians to stop “share the good news”. A lot more can be said on this topic. But I will complete by offering a perspective. Tovia is one of just a few counter missionary rabbis out there. And yet, you had a problem listening to him, you think he is hateful to Christianity and so on. Imagine thousands of Tovia Singers flying to your small town in the south of America and working tirelessly to make sure your children are not Christian. How would you feel?
