Dear brother Ayo. Thanks for the good work you are doing. However, I would like to categorically correct you on one issue. Somewhere you asserted that Muslims are doctrinated and therefore are not allowed to ask questions in regard to the faith. I can educate you from this day on that it is absolute nonsense. I am a revert for 20 years now and if it wasn't that Islam allowed me to question anything... imean everything about the religion I would never have been a Muslim by now. In Islam, unlike in Christianity where we are told not to ask too much about God and just believe, in Islam, questioning and reflection are encouraged. Many verses in the Quran ask us to question our lives, our surroundings, our biases, and our character including the religion. There is no room for blind belief in Islam. Islam encouraged us to use logic, seek knowledge by questioning and reflecting. The prophet Mughammad was a good example that we all emulate. People from all walks of life asked him all kinds of questions and in the process, many verses were also revealed to him. Today, Islam is just the same. You are allowed to ask anything, doubt anything and it is clear in the quran that there is no compulsion in Islam. Even if my child says I don't want to be Muslim, that's their right and I am not supposed to force them. Without questions, there is no Islam. Questioning leads to knowledge and that's exactly what the Quran strongly encourages. In Islam you have the right to question who Allah is and who the prophets are and what Islam is. I slam discourages believing blindly. You must your your head and learn and question all you like. So please before you make such ignorant statements, do your research first. It's good for you and for us all your audience. Thnks and God bless you.
