'Love thy neighbour'.....'Till death us do part'.....'rising damp'......'The Dick Emery show'.....'Kenny Everet'.....' Jim Davidson'...to name but a few. All of those shows were written and performed with a firm tongue in the cheek. There only aim was to make the audiences laugh out as loud possible. Each and every show covered every subject in society at that particular time. The side splitting laughter was generated by focusing on individual characters from every walk of life. White people, black people, Asian people, gay people, men who wore makeup and dressed as women. But the most important point about that fun and fantastic era is sadly very much overlooked in this weak and woke society we live in today...? No one whatsoever took any of it to heart. Divisions and whats right and whats wrong ,didn't register back then. Do you know why...? Cos it didn't exist! No one saw anything cos there was nothing there to see!
