They had security paid for by UK tax payers in Canada until March 2020 when they returned to UK and said they were leaving, they knew at the Sandringham summit that if they left the Royal family security would be withdrawn, Canada then provided it until they left for California, even the Canadians were outraged at why they should pay for it. I was in a Waterstones bookshop today and they were displaying a poster for Harry’s “Spare” book offering preorders at half price ! It looked more like a “Wanted” poster rather than a promotional one which made me laugh out loud but that aside when I asked the assistant if many people had preordered she said she hadn’t taken any and wasn’t sure if her colleague had. My guess is if they are offering it at half price before it has even hit the shelves they have a gut feeling it’s not going to be a big seller.

The part I found most distasteful was when they showed footage of the Stephen Lawrence murder case. Trying to conflate Harry and Meghan's situation with a brutal racist murder was a step too far, even for them. And let's not forget it was the Daily Mail who published that front page with the photographs of Stephen's murderers and kept his story on the agenda. I hope Stephen's family weren't upset by it.

I think Meghan had a typical idealized American view of marrying a prince. She expected some fantastical disney type fairytale lifestyle starting with a huge wedding & her arriving in a chariot led carriage. Then the real truth hit...first, royal life is not the fantasy she expected & 2 she married the spare & is therefore much further down the totem pole of importance than what she imagined. That is why she is insanely jealous of Kate...who actually lives the life Meghan expected to have.
