Luis Cavazos Mine is more like a study cafe. Before u open ur business u must first know ur consumers and ur most probable customers or the type of customers u actually want. Then, focus on that. Mine is near school so my most probable customers are students. Next to my study cafe are condo units, few blocks are apartments and the people staying there are students at the most. So my cafe is made for studying while chillin with coffee at the same time. Students who tend to procrastinate at their homes will go to my cafe because they can concentrate there. Students who are all nighters typically looks for coffee and wants a place away from bed... So my cafe is their place.

Treat your customers with respect, talk to them and educate them about the value added that your coffe and process brings to them.

Be hospitable and make sure people come out of your shop more rested that they way they came in..or jacked up on caffeine! You choose! Good luck!

Thank you for the video BGE and also Andrew Tolley for sharing your experience/wisdom. Be good getting your experiences down in to a book similar to Colin Harmon to benefit the industry.

I needed a cup of coffee just to make it through the first five minutes. Dark setting, impossible to enjoy the screen images, and just a slow paced delivery.
