This was basically ‘our song’ when I was barely 16 and in my first relationship. It only lasted two months but I was heartbroken when it ended and you can imagine how hard the lyrics hit with cruel irony when I was at that low point. My musical taste has changed a lot since then and this must be the first time I’ve come back to this song in over ten years but, boy, it’s crazy how it brings back the feeling of that time - the emotions, the hormones, the whole sense of it.
