Lyrics
It's been a long year since you've been gone
I've been alone here, I've grown old
Fall to pieces, I'm falling
Fell to pieces and I'm still falling
Every time I'm falling down
All alone, I fall to pieces
I keep a journal of memories
I'm feeling lonely, I can't breathe
Fall to pieces, I'm falling
Fell to pieces and I'm still falling
Every time I'm falling down
All alone, I fall to pieces
Every time I'm falling down
All alone, I fall to pieces
Every time I'm falling down
All alone, I fall to pieces
All the years I've tried with more to go
Will the memories die, I'm waiting?
Will I find you, can I find you?
We're falling down, I'm falling
Every time I'm falling down
All alone, I fall to pieces
Every time I'm falling down
All alone, I fall to pieces
Every time I'm falling down
All alone, I fall to pieces
Every time I'm falling down
All alone, I fall to pieces

One of the Best Songs about falling to pieces as you're trying to stay clean. These Songs resonate within my soul body and spirit because its really how he felt. These Songs are Masterpieces for a reason. Scott isn't just singing hes feeling too. This was his life. People always think dr*gs are fun because in a sense they are until you start to feel the effects of them. Like withdrawal, thos3 sweats, cramping stomach. Can't eat or sleep because of your body craving the dr*g. Just Sad, 😢😢 Rip Scott Weiland ❤❤ You are Truly Missed 😭🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏

Slash was spot on “I just thought he was a great singer, and he'd always been on my mind for this band. He was the one vocalist that I knew had the kind of voice that would serve what we were going to do: he had a John Lennon-ish quality, a little bit of Jim Morrison, and a touch of almost David Bowie. He was the best singer to come out in a long time in my opinion." RIP Scott

OK, this is the deal was a 15 year opiate addict and everything else. I lost everything almost my house went in bankruptcy spent 350,000 cash on the street for 10 years, not working . didn’t pay my house taxes for two years . I only had enough money to hire a lawyer so I could make payments . Got on a job stayed there 10 years . Now I’ve been off of the sub but it’s 61 former guitarist. I still rock hard but I have a lot of medical arthritis neuropathy in the feet. I had no choice but to get more opiates after all that I don’t really abuse them, but I do drink and mix. I’m OK I’ll never be able to fall into the attic zone because once you kick it, you can never really get your euphoria back. Your brain receptors get all jacked up. I know they say you make new ones but trust me it’ll never be the same..(once you kick it for a long. Period.) so everybody keep doing your thing stay clean. It’s a much better life. This video freaks me out to this day. Scott probably had many times like this.. congrats to everybody

Then he had to watch as Scott had his struggles and later die after the band was dissolved.

Its an unfortunate truth that it is the pain and sorrows, it is suffering hardships that pushes us to greatness. Otherwise we just whither and die slowly, having never really lived. Some go out with a bang, and what seems like a magical show of fireworks, they give the rest of us the inspiration to keep going because most of us barely make a whimper and just fade away.

I've been fighting my own personal war with "H" for over 20 years and I know how exhausting it can be. though I'm sad for your family & loved ones, I'm glad your pain and suffering are now finally over. Rest well my friend. God knows you needed it. Thanks for the great songs through the years. My deepest condolences to your family and loved ones Scott. God speed brother! See ya when I get there! 😎👍

+Jason LovesABR Thanks Jason. I'm actually doing well. I've been clean now for 13 years, 2 months and 12 days...but just because I'm clean doesn't mean that it's not a daily war I wage with my addiction. It will be with me until the day I die. Hopefully that will be many years from now and of natural causes and not an OD. But I have no delusions that I'm exempt. I could take a fix any day just like the next guy. Thanks again though for asking. To Scott's loved ones...know that he loved you guys with all his heart and his battle was no reflection of yours or his love for one another. Peace.

Read the Rolling Stone posthumous article Mary wrote about Scott. Google it. Scott could never have gotten clean, he had too much of his identity wrapped up in being the 90s version of Johnny Thunders. This beautiful apology video? Mary ACCEPTED it and took him back, and then 4 months later he was back to his old ways and she divorced him for good. There are no happy endings.

I always get hung up on the part of this video where Duff carries Scott up the stairs when he's fucked up while another girl dies of an overdose, such a powerful scene.(It could've been him) It hit me in the chest when Duff fought with Scott then fell to the floor holding him in tears, Never before have I seen the battle with addiction so accurate and profoundly portayed as in this video. RIP Weiland, and may peace be with everyone else who knows the pain of losing something irreplaceable as a casualty of their battles.

Jeffrey Filler The way it works in Kensington, (Kensington is part of North Philly, and the east coast Mecca of heroin) there will be a spate of overdoses so the cops will do a few raids and seize some drugs and go on the news and say they are working on the problem and blah blah blah. They'll increase police presence for a few weeks and then it will be business as usual. The drug scene and dealer's techniques are so deeply entrenched in Kensington that it runs like a well oiled machine from the bowels of Hell. They would have to drop an atomic bomb on Kensington to get rid of the drugs. It's a black hole and most that enter only get out when they go to jail or die. Sad but true.

@@gregadventures2024 I'm so sorry!! My brother is an addict and we're fighting so hard to save him! Hes only 41 but has struggled with this for over 10 years. I dont know if God is real or not, but prayer doesn't seem to help. He's hitting rock bottom right now, so hopefully it'll be his wake up call!! Any advice is greatly appreciated!!!

@Mike McVeigh He was finding his way to the Lord, (starting to attend church) though you ask, sometimes our Lord has different plans for us. One day all our questions will be answered by Him.
