Denouement was a CD I listened to over and over again! I have played classical guitar for around 30 years, and I loved playing your compositions. It was a lot of your compositions that inspired me to start composing as well. I wrote for classical guitar for a long time and had a 3-movement piece for guitar trio performed. Now, I compose for orchestra, piano, strings, and much more. My latest piece, Solitudes Requiem, is for classical guitar, piano, strings, and vocal. I still go back and listen to a lot of classical guitar. Thanks for your work, and for the inspiration to start composing.

This has a very nautical feel to me, like the ship is about to set sail, and we crew members have our duffle bags slung over our shouloders, boarding and on our way to fame and fortune and adventure. Reporting for duty Captain York! May the fair winds always fill our sails!

Your timing is perfect, Andrew! I've been contemplating which piece to learn next, and this one is a break from the more soulful and moody pieces of yours that I've learned. It's time to put a spring in my step! Thanks again for all of your contributions to open up this wonderful instrument to a wide audience.

@@AndrewYorkguitar Thanks so much, you are a huge inspiration! Andecy was the reason I picked up classical guitar. I was playing electric guitar (mostly metal) and, in the early 90s, I heard Andecy on the Windham Hill Guitar Sampler, found an amazing classical guitar teacher, and started on my 30 year journey learning classical guitar. So thank you for inspiring me, and countless others, with your amazing music!
