I see there is a bracket that has a series of holes in it towards where the bottom of your cushion is. I don't know how strong it is. Try drilling a couple of holes in the end of your transfer board spaced to match two of those holes. Then put a carriage bolt in each hole that is long enough to sit in those holes to keep your transfer board from slipping off. That should lower the angle of your transfer board and if not, make a custom bracket below that bar.

I used those holes and the hardware provided for an upward 1" steel then a 90 over with brace to have a transfer type thing. Still not much help with the height. If I back onto 4x4 boards it helps greatly but hard to manage. Still without being able to reach the ground your pretty much a tourist instead of working from it

Yes sir, raising your chair to the height of the other one is probably the best way to go if you have the room to build a ramp/deck next to it. Good luck!

The literal biggest complaint on this chair is that I can't reach the ground. Takes away from picking up a stick, fishing pole/fish, any involvement in a hunting situation requiring touching the ground. Simply put It just sits tall. I'm 6'2 and am quite aways from touching the ground. Once again; Great machine but has it's issues. I don't rely on others so it is kinda a bummer not being able to do the things I wanted to use it for in the first place. Absolutely a great chair to cruise around the farm in. Hauling is done by trailer with me. It was delivered with ramps out the bed of a truck that sat pretty high. Was impressed it didn't tip over. However that again requires someone that isn't wheelchair depended. Will be making another video soon.

I just got the axis and have to agree on most things my biggest concern is the joystick controller not been waterproof. I live in a tropical rainforest where we measure rain in meters or feet if you like . The other concern is the agm batteries they don't like hill country at half speed I drained the batteries to 50% in 2.5k with a rise of 250 meters. To get around that i have strapped a generator to the rack on the back to charge on the go . Full speed is 8kmh but for comfort I run at half speed 4kmh and have noticed on gravel that it gets very skittish going flat out . Other than that it is perfect for me. Cheers from Australia

Thanks for the comment. Very few honest answers on the Action Track Chairs. They are nice but do have their issues. Get it for freedom of sorts yet not able to get to the ground to pick up the fish, rock, whatever; kinda defeats the purpose. My battery consumption doesn't allow much where I live. Ozark Mountains..

@@AndrewKuster the main reason I got mine is the very hostile environment I live in warm to hot , very high humidity and wet . Some parts of the chair are genius other bits cheap components . The Curtis control system not been waterproof is just cheap and nasty , not been able to adjust the seat back without unbolting is a real pain . I can live with the short range with the generator . Am a bit lucky with getting stuff off the ground as I can still walk about 10ft with crutches and having a decent grabber to pick things up . I had a choice when I got the axis either that or magic mobility x8 . With the environment here the axis came out way ahead for simplicity and they are built like a tank Cheers

I live in Montana, and I agree that power is a real concern. Although, yesterday I went elk hunting and was able to get around two and a half miles from the truck calling and moving according to where they(the elk) were. I was traversing some rugged terrain and will have a video up soon. But, I do keep a close eye on battery life. I think if there was a way to charge it on the go with a solar panel, it would be a great option. As for reaching the ground, I have given up the pride of being independent with the deteriorating muscles that Muscular Dystrophy has made for me. But, I do have a service dog that is a wonderful choice for picking up dropped items. Granted, I don't take her fishing since I am with other people. But, could you imagine the video of her picking up a lure for me?!! LOL

@@redneckgimpreview Yesterday I went 1/4 mile down our farms gravel rroad and 2 bars were gone already. After just a 3 minute job on the fence and back I was at 1/2 battery. Sometimes it does good and others, not so much. WTG on the hunt. Hoping it helps on Deer recovery in the next weeks. Decided not to go bow hunting this year.

I have one of the action track chairs for about 15 months it was out of action for the 1 st 7 months due to arguing with suppliers in Queensland about batteries needed to be replaced within the first 2weeks of delivery Nothing but problem especially with the chair overheating and batteries lasting for less than 6km on gravel tracks not bush track and taking 16 to 19 Hrs to charge up … don’t think it’s worth it at. $55:000 K. per chair it seamed a rip off to me ,,,,, no service? Go buy the Ziesel it a Beastie My one is sitting there for many months now collecting dust cuz it’s a real piece of shit. My advice Don’t waist your money $$$$$$ on a Action Track chair

This looks cool, but not practical, I have a tri-ride T-rocks, it has good off road capacity, fantastic road, pavement capacity and incredible range and speed. Up to 30mph and easy 20 mile range in hilly terrain on single battery.

The T-Rocks couldn't go where I take the track chair. Do give it a thumbs up though.

@@AndrewKuster with the trecking rear power wheels, it's very close and I can still get on the bus and train or taxi so it's give and take.

@@Bluetoothedshark absolutely! I would love to have one but getting in-out of it would be harder than the track chair for myself. I live in the Ozark Mountains and the land grows rocks lol. The terrain works with tracks or low geared 4x4 semi wide tires. I have a 79 Chevy that I modded for driving from power chair and it has not been out of Low 4x4 in 20 years.. I DO NOT like the low battery life. Height from ground (too high), foot plate and more but it works.

@@AndrewKuster you just get into your normal wheelchair and then the T-rocks attaches once you are in, it couldn't be easier to be honest.
