The reason you don’t smoke at a gas station isn’t because of the liquid gas, it’s because of the gas fumes that are in the air in and around your gas tank and the gas pump. Still probably can’t imagine it being a good idea, but diesel gas has less fumes and especially because he was not at a gas station where the fumes are much more potent.

That looked like a brand new screener. I just priced that thing on Amazon and it was like $16.5K and another $643 for shipping. Hope you have plenty of projects to offset the cost. But it is definitely a sweet piece of equipment. Anything that eliminates extra steps is a winner every time. If you have spaces on your property you want to level out and stockpile the topsoil and then separate the rock to another pile to use in areas you want to fill in or use for roadbed fill.

Tipping it from the top-end straight-on would also reduce the need for putting it over the screen 3 times - less fines would make it to the tail end. (a hopper/restrictor at the top end would also slow the rate down. (Most of those tailings need at least another screening maybe 2 - too many fines in the rubble)....
