Eddie Jones "Brain Fade" for believing in his team ?
@peterbreen30397 ай бұрын
Farrell is so addicted to being in the news, he probably did this on purpose. Pre WC all the talk was re the length of his ban for : no arms, high tackle V Wales. He is both addicted to being in the news and then loves to be a victim for being in the news. No way was this a brain fade. NB: 2015 and England’s exit after losing against Australia. We were 3 V 17 down at half time. Farrell had played the worst game as an English 10 in any WC. Ford comes on and launches a recovery. At 10 V 17, Farrell realises that the news might be about Ford’s performance. So Farrell deliberately gets a yellow card. He can’t help himself.

@Karma-qt4ji11 ай бұрын
@@lucabayne2874 not true. Firstly, it was not a red card, it was a yellow, and since he lead with his head into the impact he probably deserved that. That's what the laws say and they were correctly applied at the time - we as spectators now more than ever need to be able to discern between a bad decision and a correct decision based on potentially bad laws. I believe that JvdF has no reason to run into the ruck like that and that should also be sanctioned but the law is not on my side in that. So I blame the laws, not the referee who applied them.

Apologies if you think that way, I obviously condemn any of the abuse. He’s on record of saying that he doesn’t watch any rugby KZbin videos and I’ve received plenty of shit in the past for saying he’s one of the greatest & highlighting his best tackles. FWIW I was in the crowd when he was booed by England fans and I was absolutely not booing. If you feel that strongly I’ll happily change the thumbnail but I wouldn’t think too much into them, I merely include those that are in the video.
@canadiancontent35211 ай бұрын
Tbh this brain fade was also an example of him at his worse, when he's too chatty. Don't condone the abuse, bur think the criticism is warranted. That said he did lead England well against SA.
@AndrewDavidForde11 ай бұрын
@@Napoleon1180 That's a pretty bold claim. Having suffered with bouts of depression myself I sympathise with anyone going through mental health struggles, especially Farrell. He's a superb player, bloke by all accounts and doesn't deserve the grief he gets. I was at the RWC Quarter Final where his own fans booed him. I thought that was outrageous. A brain fade happens to any player, even the best. When you're playing at such a high intensity, naturally you don't make the best decisions, I believe there are studies proving that. Furthermore, Rugby IQ isn't an insult, nor is it intended to be. You could have a 'high rugby IQ' and still be thick as pig shit. And vice versa. Moreover, I know for an absolute fact, that Owen Farrell doesn't watch any Rugby KZbin videos. He has said this himself. So, even if it is negative towards Farrell (which I don't think it is) then luckily he won't see this.

RWC 2003 in South Africa, England played Samoa and Poms had 16 men on pitch as well. Clive Woodward said he thought they were in shit as the rules stated that more than 15 men and all point for the match would go against the transgressors.( This match was marked by controversy, as England technically fielded 16 players for 30 seconds during the game when Dan Luger came onto the pitch in substitution for Mike Tindall, who was receiving treatment for an injury but still on the pitch. England were fined £10,000 as a result) Cheque books came out and Poms bought their way out of it. Should of been a automatic points deduction.
