Finn Russel should've been first choice in the 2021 British & Irish Lions tour to South Africa. The backline came alive in the 10th minute after he was subbed on in the third test.

If points were awarded for outrageous and/or ridiculously inconceivable passes, Finn is a guaranteed match winner every single game. I will never forget how he sliced through Leinsters defence last year. Boy still got gas.

Why dont you haters go and watch Finn play . He,s the best 10 around by far and the reason kids take up rugby . Rugby union needs to be a spectator sport and players like Finn are keeping it alive .

The pass at 2:35 is a semi-final with 3 minutes left, and he gets the ball at his shoe laces and flicks that pass. Then nails the conversion from out wide... some player

We are paying one million a year for him at Bath. Goal kicking aside ☹️ he is worth the cash.
@marcgrenow45011 ай бұрын
He is an excellent goal kicker, but seems to be missing when he kicks for Bath, not sure if that's because Spencer takes them ahead of him and he just hasn't settled his goal kicking there or what.

he was a 90% goal kicker for racing, must be something about the bath balls

he is so so good. fantastic mercurial player to watch, sublime ability that plays to scotland strengths. theres no reason that scotland cantt become known for, having found, finally, a sense of what were good at; produucing regularly players of his calibre. what that sort of positive environment needs, requires and unlike our football (which unfortunately is still, arguably, in doldrums) has now is:> > a well run set up in scottish rugby. the environment one operates in aught to be the best it can be, that we can make it so that we all are able to come together to enjoy our clubs and national teams with the talent we have all over the pitch not just in rugby but in the football too. the state of the way our football is run is a failure everyone from the start of the association to now basically who has been / currently on the board or whatever have / are manifestly failing the teams, cluubs fans and overall community of the family of scottish football. compared to what it could be if all the varied opertunitites, which i am in no doubt will arise, are taken with talented, ambitious, creative people with vision to run things and take the whole thing forward. it may be best to have the SFA and League in the same body for example
