SARugby voted him above Joost for best Springbok of all time. They made a bold claim and they got it right too. He was unparalleled in my opinion

He has revolutionized his position, and if he lacks juice in the last few months, let's not forget that this guy is a bit the equivalent of Messi in rugby in the way he is so strong in so many areas and makes the difference all by himself. After, if he is THE best can still be asked. He has not won a World Cup. And there are some competitors in his position, like Fourie, Edwards or Smith.
