Quade’s Try from time 1:21 to 1:35 is, quite simply, a gift from the Gods. Quade Cooper is a supreme athlete whose intuitive, intelligent gold-plated understanding of the best game in the World has been hugely underated. It is an absolute joy to watch you play rugby, Mr Cooper.

I needed to rewind That try vs Ireland where he took the ball flat and dummies to 2 runners to freeze everyone and slip thru a Crack that just shouldn't have been there. U can see how he manipulates the defenders who are bracing for a big impact from the runners, who are a big part of the sell, and gives them no time to react. Rugby genius really

I don’t know. I think the Wallabies have been dying a slow death for 20 years now, only masked by a couple decent WC runs. Otherwise it’s hard to be optimistic. Australia does not care for rugby like it does it’s other codes.

As a native born NZer he would come in for massive stick from NZ crowds when we played there. And it always rattled him and he usually played his worst games ever. And of course that began a cycle of the crowds hassling him even more. It's not that he fell out of favor so much as not being dependable in those very matches where we needed everyone on deck.
