The steps, goose , offload and passes of Cooper are phenomenal

It is already well known that Australian administrators were not quite able to fit QC into their hierarchy very comfortably. But this short clip also shows another shortcoming of the Australian rugby system: so many of these "robotic" players could not even read their own teammate! So their support play was either late in coming, misdirected or completely absent! For such a talented player the whole system needs to be somewhat accountable for not using his skills appropriately.

Growing up in nz it’s the same thing as soon as you go representatives they want you to play in a box so instead of focusing on the game your more focused on how the coach wants you to play. Players like cooper who play with a free mind are much more capable of producing, having the set route you plan on running it’s imperative to see the space and to execute the set play flexibly depending on what’s in front of you. It’s all about space aye
