Blue Devils Drumline 2019 warmups, solos [HD Audio, Multi-cam]

The Blue Devils Drumline warms up with some exercises in the lot before their show in Ogden, Utah on July 10th, 2019. For warmups, they play Eights, Triplet Partials, Accent Tap, and Flams. Then the sub-sections each take a moment to play some solos and show off for the crowd. This lot warmup took place before the DCI Corps Encore show at Weber State University. I was happy to see Scott Johnson in attendance, a rare sight at an early season show in Utah. They were missing a tenor player due to injury, but it didn't seem serious. Enjoy the vid!

BD wouldn't dare! Scott Johnson loved that I was there, haha. If you listen closely at 12:18 you can hear him ask me if I'm FloMarching. ScoJo: "Hey is Flo here? Are you FloMarching?" Me: "No." ScoJo: "No?! Never mind." He wanted to do a competition on FloMarching to have people vote which subsection played their solo the best (see the end of my vid). But then they just did it on Facebook Live on their page.

Ra's Al-Xander is the whole show in the same key signature then. Cause I’ve never understood the allure of tuning to a key when you have a 12 minute show which in theory is the most advance music around and should be changing keys a whole lot.
