Dear Dougal, that was very magnamanous of you to welcome Andrew back like that. Even though he seems to have ambitions to take over your channel. I look forward to seeing you back in the leading role.

We really enjoyed this Andrew - great campsite and lovely city within walking distance - we want to go there. Think Dougal and friend were as pleased to see you as you were them - what a great welcome!! We like the idea of touring at this time of year - minus the storms of course. Great vehicle from Burstner too. Thank you. Russell and Jennifer

Thanks a lot for the series Andrew, really enjoyed it all. The brief tour of the campsite was much appreciated. As is said elsewhere, the rodent looks like a coypu which we get in the drainage channels where we live in the countryside of the northern tip of France. And just loved that Dougal moment, a great way to end!

Thanks for sharing. I think I'd rather have a train line near the site than a motorway. You can't beat the greeting a dog gives you. Be it 7 days or even 7 minutes, they're just as enthusiastic! Graham

Och, thank you for that wee tour of Strasbourg. There were areas of the city, including the cathedral, that I vaguely remember seeing whilst living in Severn with my parents+ 60 years ago, ...my father+ was American military. Strasbourg is so French, but yet so German at the same time. As always, a cracking video. Slàinte Mhath.

I was hoping the unidentified mammal was a Water Vole. Not a rat but depicted by Kenneth Grahame as "Ratty" in wind in the willows. An endangered species and its presence is indicative of a river without pollution. BUT it looks to be a musk rat, an introduced species - naturally controlled by alligators. So the good news is - not may Alligators in Strasbourg.
