A wonderful relaxing video, I do enjoy traveling on KZbin to places I'll never see in the flesh. We've been on cruises, etc. to Alaska & the Rockies in Canada. We also once hired a motorhome in Calgary & spent a couple of weeks pottering about. It was by far the most memorable trip.

Another lovely video, Andrew - looks stunning. Looking forward to your visit to Siena, too - we did a caravan tour of the region back in 1999 and actually preferred it to Florence! Halcyon days…

Cheers Mr Le Cap! Yes, Florence can be a tad overwhelming, as I later found out...

This brings back lovely memories of a trip I did with my wife and sister (two different people!). The pecorino in Pienza was so delicious. You had to do your best to get to the counter with the old ladies of the village pushing ahead of you.

I cannot wait to go to Italy next year to see my niece, she teaches in an English school in Palmi, Calabria! Just across from Sicily! Everything looked wonderful there, the coffee, the food and the wine! Heaven!! Brilliant vlog, I thought you weren't posting one for a while! Thank God you did! xxx 🥰🇮🇹🍷🐕

Hi Andrew I have a question we are pondering between a caravan and a motor home in a couple of years basically to spend 3 months near the alps skiing and then 3 months touring Europe happy retirement ? I am looking for your advice on which would be better suited aires are free or for very little in a mororhome but not always accessible with a caravan . What are your thoughts ?
@andrewjditton2 жыл бұрын
Hi Les, I guess you checked out my video on the subject? Just search 'Caravan, motorhome, or camper van?' in the search bar. Cheers!

Great video, fantastic places and scenery. I drove round Italy about 20 years ago. Back then if you were off the beaten track petrol stations opened when the manager felt like opening and not per the expected opening hours and every resturant seemed to have some variation of veal as it's signature dish.

Looking at architecture from ancient times and compare it with today's monstrosities, especially in southern Europe, one has to wonder why it all went so wrong.
