As always, Your explanations are always very clear. The pace of the video is just right. The suggestions for exercises are excellent and demonstrate your desire to help us develop the skills that time, practice and effort have enabled you to acquire. I feel that everything is accessible to me if I take the trouble to try. All too often we are offered incomplete tutorials, whether deliberately or not, which don't allow us to achieve the result presented... Which is frustrating... That's absolutely not what you're proposing. Again... It's much appreciated.

Outstanding tutorial! So helpful and I’m thinking of several projects were I can use this technique. One question, I’d like to construct a backdrop/stage like the one you have, but don’t know the proper names of the parts. I’d love to see an overview of the clamps/rods/connectors for holding the background of the scene.

Great video! Is it better to use an off camera flash to get the complete black background?

You and your channel are terrific. I learn so much and yesterday I finally managed to get a decent stacked focus macro photo of tiny mushrooms in Epping Forest. Many, many thanks for your kindness, talent and willingness to share :-)

Good tutorial for developing PS skills. Another tip for the blending masks, you can paint on a disabled mask. When the mask is enabled you can't see the drop you want to reveal. Disabling the mask reveals the drop so you don't have to guess where it is and you can still paint on the mask to reveal it, then enable the mask and move to the next layer.

This is great and something I will try as I've done loads of water splashes but this is different and results much quicker of to buy blueberries now

Great video! I'd add that if you used a wired cable release, there wouldnt be all of that camera deflection introduced between shots. While not a huge deal for this method/series of images, it would relieve you of some post production masking. On something a bit more critical when stacking, say a wine bottle, where you do this method with highlights, relying on manually, or PS automated align layers isnt fool proof or 100% reliable, and could make for a big headache later if that deflection is there between frames.. Thinking on my response, you might even be able to shoot tethered with camera control software and set a continuous burst bracket on a timer, or delay. That would free up your second hand for double dropper shots, or possibly other effects? Just thinking out loud.

Question for you - your live view usually looks like you are shooting on a white background, but all your pics make it look like a black background, is this just a thing with the live-view ?

Since KZbin removed dislikes count on videos no more likes from me on even good videos. Videos that I don't like will get comment "dislike". I urges people to do same.

That will only hurt the people who create the videos you're watching, not KZbin.
