The problem of these easy modes is how they end up undermining the experience for the newcomer by going overboard, and giving the gaming journalists most of which are beyond incompetent as well as corrupt the easy time they shouldn't even need to begin with if they were actually half as competent as they should be. I feel that Megaman as a series doesn't need it since people who will seek out these games are usually more than prepared to face these challenges, and casual players will most likely stick to their mundane releases of franchises like Pokemon that have a better target audience for attracting as many souls in as possible. Simpler and more mindless the gameplay and bigger the marketing, better profits.

Sigma has acquired some rad cosplay taste over the history of megaman x franchise. From imitating star wars jedi in x1 to going for a astro boy pluto look in x8. In x8 he's huge,has big ass horns on his heads,he is basically pluto from astroboy with slight modifications and his aesthetic has evolved to the demon/giant motif that that he's gone beyond theimitating and hijacking bodies stage.

For some reason, for me at least, when I was a newer player, between the first 3 X games, X2 Sigma was the hardest for me to take down. Hell, I didn't even get past Serges til long after I beat X1 and X3 (was like 8 at the time), but now that I'm a lot better a it (I also grew up with it in the 90s btw so I've been playing MMX for almost 30 years now), X2 is byfar the easiest. I'll bet he had invincibility turned on in X2 b/c he couldn't handle the fight. He seems like a newer player to me.
