Best studio I have seen in this series. Straight to the point, very tidy. Too many instruments can make a studio look like a junk yard. This one is impressive.

I’ve been watching Andrew’s KZbin channel for years. As a result of the knowledge and ideas I’ve gain from the channel I was able to quit my day job to focus on my studio. And now the only way I know what day it is is when the Monday studio tours come around 😂🤘😂🗽🔥🥁🤦‍♂️

HAPPY 100K! I am so so SO proud of you. You have worked so very hard to get to this point. I want to mount your silver plaque on the front door instead of a wreath haha. Also, once again this video is amazing. I love this guys setup and especially the studio layout.

Absolutely love this studio. One thing that made me LOL. Not one thing in there is less than top notch. And then powering it is a Pyle power strip. Haha. However, when I saw an $8000 monitor controller, I knew I would never be able to relate.

Congrats on the 100k! Well deserved for sure. Here's a fun tip: Another way to accomplish the hybrid workflow he's got going on is through a Dante system. If you have a daw that allows you to run plugins on the input chain (coughstudioonecough), you can set up all your gear in the hardware insert plugin, save them as presets (including delay compensation, mix levels, i/o, phase, and pictures for recall), and then dynamically drag them around your session like single-instance plugins. Wanna use those hardware pieces when mixing, or on another channel? Just disable the first one and pull up a new instance elsewhere! This style of work is also really suited to the Cranborne 500-Series bays, which I noticed Andrew just picked up ;) Apart from knob-turning, you can engineer right from the daw, and your patching will be saved with the tracking session for perfect recall!

Much Love for reaching 100k Subscribers!! That’s fantastic achievement. With that said, I do miss some of your earlier work. Like showing what I call mom and pop studios “ small budget home studios”. Home studios where drummers and the like work from. There garages, basement and attics. These blush studios are great, and quite frankly I wish I had one. Most of us are trying to get content out from are bedrooms. Don’t forget about the small home studios. Just saying 👊🏽

Cool build, lots of money on the important stuff (the rooms) and then some great gear, mixed with some meh (IMHO) being WARM. Not going to lie, loved how he didn't even mention the Behringer ;) MM27's are fantastic and used them at friends and they were indeed lazer accurate but man, you better have your room dialed. Great, but too much fussing around for me.

Andrew, how are you liking those Focal Trio 11 BE's? I'm rocking a pair in my studio as well. Did you find they perform better for you in the vertical orientation as opposed to horizontal? I've been doing a LOT of experimenting with them. For me, and my room situation, it is taking a lot of work to get them sounding perfect. Also - how far are your tweeters from eachother? I'm finding it difficult to find a balance between the punchiness that I desire, but also the stereo width being on point. It seems every small movement I make sacrifices/compromises one or the other. (PS: I'm in a very well treated studio, and never thought that finding the sweet spot on these beautiful speakers would be so difficult in comparison to the smaller nearfields I'm used to!) Love your videos, keep up the great work!

@@fadygergis thank you for the clarification. I bought one off Craiglist a while ago for cheap hoping to get some cheap compression (like that's ever a good idea). I turned it on and the fan revved up. In a one-room studio or a mixing room that would be so noisy, so I was curious how you could stand it.
