Excellent, got the C1 flying very well, and yes they are near perfect wing, i recently put my old C1 back in service after it suffereda big crash, 80ft nose first dive into rocky ground, and she is flying just nice again, so not only good for distance and hooning arond but a pretty tough wing as well

You guys all love you two! But do you want to make a complete iNAV tutorial on these settings? Please do it because some passages are not clear to me, but I really like these settings of the legendary Pawel. Thanks

NICE! not sure what the winds were like there,but I'd agree that it's just big enough/heavy enough to be smoooooooth..Well done!..:)
@51im5 жыл бұрын
I tried his settings which were quite similar to my own settings. However if there is any wind buffeting it feels like crap. I put a p gain of about 8 back on pitch and roll after a short test flight. It was much nicer with a bit of p gain.
@uavtech5 жыл бұрын
Makes sense. Wing too slow to react for P term. FF does the pushes based on Sticks and I-term closes the PID Error gap.
@vchan15015 жыл бұрын
By removing P, it basically means with stabilization off.
@goku4453 жыл бұрын
@@vchan1501 No, you have Integral still doing stabilization.

Good morning and I wish you a Sunday Andrew!!! Great video, thanks for sharing, we move on to the next challenge? Best regards... What's new on my channel? A new video with the Volantex 757-3... a challenging flight despite the strong wind... another big step for me... you're always welcome!!!

I'm a subscriber and been a hugh fan of yours for years. I've been flying the C1 Chaser for several years using a lemon stabilized receiver. After watching your build and flight videos of the C1 using INAV I decided to buy another C1 and install INAV. This will be my first experience with INAV and It would be helpful if you could post your CLI - DIFF. 20 October 2019 at 03:43

Hi Gene. I have included the C1 Chaser Diff F411-WSE in this Google Drive Folder. newtonairlines.blogspot.com/2019/08/inav-cli-dumps.html

Very well! I don't have the time to do exactly the same test but you've done it. Thanks a lot. Will definitely put the same settings on my next build!

I am always watching your video with pleasure. If possible, Will you please tell me how to change “Distance Unit from home” of iNav OSD? I use iNav Ver.2.0. And my OSD’s unit is always displayed “km”(kilometers). I want to change it to “m”(meters). This video’s OSD is displayed “m”.

I don know, only choice is metric or imperial. Ask the question on the iNav Fixed Wing Facebook group facebook.com/groups/INAVFixedWing

I always use ANGLE mode, I do not understand why setting the Ps to 0 is a good idea ...

Mixed feelings about Pawel's video. I only fly inav air mode or manual and even then I found it not as good as a gyro or no-gyro. His video felt like a tacit admission that Inav out of the box just doesn't fly planes that well and he provided a work around. However from my experience Pawel's workaround with little to no P doesn't perform well in anything but still conditions. I love the OSD, RTH etc but I think I will just use Inav on cruisers like your C1 and use S6R's with a gyro on performance models. Horse's for courses as they say.
@AndrewNewton5 жыл бұрын
Yes it's not as good pure pure stabilisation, but I really only want the OSD, RTH and altitude hold

So what is a PIFF. If it's summat to do with first person view, then I#mnone the wiser. If I Google piff, top of the list is the magic dragon! Or a cannabis derivative.
@AndrewNewton5 жыл бұрын
Flight control board adjustments, PID or PIFF. They are the values you adjust to tune any control system. Proportional, Integral and Derivative (or Feed Forward for planes)

@@AndrewNewton Ah, ok thanx. Seems I'm even less wiser than I was before. Well, since I only fly rc gliders, I probably won't be needing that malarkey for some time to come.
