She did not pass the audition stage after singing her own piece which she branded an academic construction. She is remembered for her scary look and her voice which Simon branded a 'nightmare'. On the 12 November 2019, Burdett was found dead in her home in Leeds. She was found with stab wounds on her neck. Her death is considered to be not suspicious; thus, the stab wound was self-inflicted, ruling her death as a suicide"................wow.
@wolf.eye._-11 ай бұрын
Wtf... that makes the whole audition even freakier.. She was either murdered or maybe had some form of psychosis or on drugs maybe? To stab one's self in the neck (multiple times?) would have to be either seriously mentally deranged on drugs or both.. Maybe used to be on drugs.. I don't know.. I'm still trying to process this. I feel really awful for her and her family. These are real people with real lives and family. That is truly sad and scary. Especially if her murderer is still out there (if she didn't do it..) 😢

It's because the shows producers ask them to perform and even if they're terrible and the producers know they are, they'll insist they're amazing and the judges will definitely give them four yes's. Even though that's not the case. There are a lot of videos on KZbin of former performers or friends of performers explaining this. Hope that explains it 😅

These people actually go through an initial vetting process before they are even seen by the judges. They pick the very worst or the weirdest ones, tell them they are absolutely amazing and then they're brought to the judges. So these people are in utter shock when Simon tells them they're bad. See Stage 1 on X Factor Wiki page: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_X_Factor_(British_TV_series)#stages
@kathleencumberbatch18934 жыл бұрын
I don’t understand why so many people who have absolutely no talent do so ridiculously bad. And become so terribly upset when told the truth. Why do they do this!! Is it possible that the acoustics are being manipulated through the mic.?
@egosumumbraemortis56094 жыл бұрын
I actually watched a lesser known documentary about how its possible so many atrociously bad contestants make it to the judges. Based on what a guy who tried out for the show said, there's something like 100 plus "sub-judges" who screen the thousands waiting and each of these judges is given a certain "criteria" they're allowed to let through. That criteria, according to this KZbinr was either a.) terrific b.) average yet has a tragic backstory or some bs c.) awful yet will get the show good ratings. Most of these awful auditions were let through on purpose because people, like us on KZbin, die laughing rewatching them on KZbin. It only increases the shows ratings. For the people themselves....I think it's a mixture of being deluded as well as never having anyone speak to them truthfully about what they sound like. No one wants to be the guy who tells his mate, "Dude you're a miserable singer", yet it perpetuates this growing field of people who think they're talented.
@thomasrosekat40914 жыл бұрын
Adding on to what the other guy said, I think alot of these people have been lied to their whole lives about there so called "tallent" and this is their reality check

Ego Sum Umbrae Mortis I can actually confirm that(I auditioned for AGT last year(2019) and it was only for the producers/sub-judges). You wait for hours on end in a building with what seems to be thousands of people, and then when a series of numbers including yours is called, you’re put in a room with roughly 20 people auditioning and producers. I only didn’t make it bc I don’t believe I fell into the categories. Not bad enough to make a fool out of, not good enough to be “terrific”, and didn’t have enough of a tragic backstory(I’m not salty about that at all, just stating facts). After this audition, the producers then call/email you saying you made it on the show, so it’s all planned.
