Watching Liam Payne and his proud family as he auditions second time round at 16, not knowing he had 15 years ahead in one of the biggest boy bands and a successful solo music career awaiting him which was well deserved as he was vocally talented and loved by millions of fans around the world. How tragic his life was cruelly cut short at 31 by a misjudged split second decision. If only he had believed what a gift he had given this world and how loved he was by many. Yup, Liam's passing shocked me greatly. This isn't my music scene at all, but by chance I met him and we briefly chatted perhaps 4 years ago. He was a friendly guy and he didn't mind at all that I had no idea who he was... based on that single encounter I rather liked him as a person... it turns out I had heard a couple of One Direction songs! His passing at such a young age is very unfortunate. 😞

James Arthur and Ella Henderson were on the same season of X Factor. In one of the earliest rounds they both received the fewest audience phone calls and had to sing against each other, Arthur making the cut and Ella being eliminated. Most tragic moment ever in X Factor history. Both by far the best in the whole competition. Maybe ever. Ella was out, James later won the show.

He was so different, unique and to date, still the best X Factor winner ever! I can't believe Mollie King entered the X Factor.
