It would be so nice if you could start with their discography. Since you said you liked hiphop please react to outro tear or hiphop lovers. These dont have mvs. Lyrics videos will help. Bts' lyrics are something else. I know people keep recommending you introcudtion videos but its basically they click on an introduction and request another. I believe its time for their music. And also you can keep react to introductions and cracks with time. Its just my opinion. Ofc its your channel and your will :)

Lol this introduction series are filled with memes and some incorrect information. I personally don't recommend new people to watch this, the ones on the Gadaursan channel are more accurate and focus a lot more on their artistic journey if you wanna do those instead. I don't think people would mind if you watch those. Thanks for taking the time to get to know them and their culture tho!

I see most people in the comments are telling you that most of the information is wrong, while yes there are a few mistakes, it’s not as much as some people are seeing. But it’s only for this introduction, been a while since I’ve seen the others :/. Personally I really enjoy Squishy Min Yoongi’s videos a bit more than the other people are recommending only because you get to see them a bit more personally, while the other’s a bit more formal. This video is really old though, I think Jungkook’s introduction was released mid 2017. I’d recommend watching the series everyone else is suggesting and watch some of Squishy Min Yoongi’s individual videos of the members, so you get the most update and accurate information, and see the members personalities individually. Maybe start with the members habits~~ Love the vid btw :D ~~

I miss watching reactors react to this old bts introduction videos.. many don't like it now probaby bec. most new to bts might think they're gay, but these vids were really made for fun.. Personally, this is the only introduction that i watched many times back then bec. it contains a lot of baby bangtan old clips.. the goofy and so extra bts that armys know. These introduction videos have some incorrect information but i think these introduction videos from Squishy Min Yoongi definitely give you more of an insight of their personalities and relationship with the members rather than their own personal career history. I still recommend watching these is you want to know they’re personality, I wouldn’t really recommend them for information on their career.

You should check out their buzzfeed interview as well as their appearance on the show “Weekly Idol”. They made it into 2 parts instead of 1 since the editors thought it was so funny they wanted to include everything

The pronunciation of his name is probably the hardest one, in my opinion. You kinda gotta know how Korean words sound.. If that makes sense. Jungkook is the English translated spelling of his name. If you were to write it out as the Korean alphabet sounds it's Jeongguk. ㅈ - has a kind of weird... J/Ch hybrid kinda sound. ㅓ - is eo. ㅇ - is ng. ㄱ - this can have either a more k sound or g sound depending on the word. But for his name it's sliiiightly more of a g sound. ㅜ - is a u sound thats more like oo in English. And then there's the ㄱ again which is only softly pronounced. Altogether 정국 - Jeongguk. I'm not a fluent Korean speaker so if I'm wrong I'm sure someone will correct me. But to the best of my ability, this is how his name is pronounced. I hope that helped :)

You pronounce all of the letters in his name, it's just that korean pronunciation is a bit different. In Hangul the the consonant used to make his name is not pronounced specifically as 'k' like in English, it is somewhere between the 'k' and the 'g' sounds. So really there is no exact way of spelling it with the English alphabet. Jungkook is the most common spelling, but I've seen Jeongguk, Jungguk, and some other ways before. My fingers are tired from explaining that lol

*I just wanted to comment that in Korea skinship or being touchy, showing affection between men who are good friends or really close is normal. Its part of their culture. I know a lot of ppl are weirded out by this which is understandable because they don't know, not used to it or misinterpret it. Just wanted to let you know. Also in Korean culture age is a big deal as respecting elders or ppl who are older than you (even if its by 1 year) is an important cultural value. Its a sign of respect, thats why they bow down those to who are older. There is also informal and formal speech in their language. So when talking to older ppl they have to use honorifics (formal speech) whereas those who are the same age can talk informally to each other.*

You're doing fine. Korean is difficult to explain phonetically. If you listen to the way Jungkook introduces himself, he usually says "Jungoo" and you can barely hear the k at the end. G and K are the same letter in Korean, just pronounced either k or g depending on their placement in a word. Or you can just call him JK. LOL I know this series of videos is out of date, but I still have a soft spot for them because they were how I first learned about BTS. They're an adorable and interesting bunch of guys. I hope you do more! 💜

Enjoyed the reaction, I think some can agree that the members can be crazy...but that's what we really like/admire about them, that they're not afraid of being themselves. (Some ARMYs still question whether the BTS members are just a bunch of children trapped in the bodies of grown men in their 20s lol.) Watch out for TXT (Tomorrow x Together), BTS' little brother group and Big Hit's newest group since BTS' debut in 2013...they'll be debuting within the next couple of months though their debut date has not yet been confirmed.

Don't know if anyone explained this. But K in Korean is pronounced closer to a G. So it's not Kimchi, it's Gimchi. Thus Jungkook. is more of a Junggook. There is a smaller k sound at the end of his name. But people do shorten it to Junggoo.
