Thank you very much for showing us your visit to Stamford....the town I was born in almost 71 years ago....and I have so many many memories of the place going there in my teen years....too many to write here. The 1960´s pop group..Cupids Inspiration (Yesterday has gone ) originated from Stamford. You mentioned the Model fish and chip shop...in my time they were the best fish and chips in town. Once again thanks for bringing back so many many memories.

Loved Stamford, we were there in May last year. We live just outside of Durham and it reminds me very much of there, much bigger than Durham of course.

Looks a nice place, how easy do you think it would be to park a motorhome, some of the streets look narrow.
@andrew-karens-adventures2 жыл бұрын
Cant really comment there are some bigger car parks, but suppose it depends on size of MH, we were in a car
@TheMotorhomeMiles2 жыл бұрын
You can get a motorhome parked if you know exactly where to go but a lot of the roads aren’t suitable or too busy now days 😕 Stay Safe 😜👍

If I'm right the majority of Stamford was built using Ketton Stone.
