Just a quick note a Disneyland adventure and treasure trove weren't ever the same show. Treasure trove was designed as a replacement show for Disneyland adventure.

Val and Brit Just because you claim "Treasure Trove" is a replacement for "Disneyland Adventure" doesn't mean it's an entirely new show, which it isn't- as what they do is rename the show, drop a lot of older segments and/or characters and replace them with those from more recent movies which Disney may be heavily promoting. It's basically "Disney on Ice - Cut, Paste, Delete and Rename"

Maybe this mistake is commonly made is because Treasure Trove just recycled Mickey, Minnie, Donald, and Goofy’s regular costumes from Disneyland Adventure (and because both shows have Alice in Wonderland), I do agree with your opinion, they are definitely NOT the same show. They have very different sets, and storylines (Disneyland Adventure was just about The Incredibles at Disneyland and Treasure Trove was about Mickey and friends searching for treasure). But they do share the same show code.

@@AndrewsMagicandMore I'm aware how Disney on ice works but this has no segments that came from Disneyland adventure. Disneyland adventure had pretty much an entirely original plot, where as this show reuses segments from other Disney on ice shows. Disneyland adventure doesn't do that it was just renamed over the years. This is why Treasure grove isn't the same show.

Martell Johnson You're thinking of a "new" Disney on Ice show, called "Mickey's Search Party" which I think might be a replacement for the "Passport to Adventure" show

Can they stop making frozen the finale of every show or at least not always take up the majority of act 2? I mean I get it I love Frozen but it shouldn't get more stage time then everybody else.

B L A N K The only reason it's redundant though, is because Frozen still has it's own show as part of Disney on Ice (it's the only post-1990s Walt Disney Animation Studios film that *currently* has it's own Disney on Ice show; 2000s era Disney Animated films that did/does have the "on ice" treatment: *_Lilo and Stitch, Tinker Bell, The Princess and the Frog, Tangled, Zootopia and Moana_* - those are running and/or had ran as segments of longer shows; in *_Zootopia's_* case it was a warm up skit in the "100 Years of Magic" before that show actually begins, similar to the exercise skit imposed by both Disney and YoKids that was seen in the *_Frozen_* show)

B L A N K Also, Beauty and the Beast's remake wasn't exactly a hit. It was a money maker yes, but it wasn't a critical darling like the 1991 animated counterpart has been (when it comes to the remakes Disney has been putting out lately, it's more of a sleeper hit if anything). Also if it was a hit, how come it doesn't have any more merchandise beyond what had already been manufactured and released into stores when the movie was released to theaters last year (March 2017)? Unless the remake IS the merch...

Val and Brit It's funny how you single out Frozen, yet I'm probably in the minority who has to ask: as much as I love the Princesses, why does it seem like *_EVERY_* Disney on Ice show has to revolve around them, or have segments based on their movies as if it's done out of obligation by using their popularity as a rule of thumb now?

why people say thet beauty and the beast is a hit....is not a hit...is just a moneymaker and make disney very rich but it doesnt have those amazing critics that frozen had....of course lion king and tangled are amazing movies..in fact lion king, tangled and frozen are the best movies ever that disney has made but...... why people does not except that now frozen is the new masterpeice....brave is amazing,moana is awesome ...but frozen fill ur spirit is an emotional movie full of jokes hilarious and dramatic at the same time....just except it

I may not agree, but I respect your opinion. I’d rather them do Beauty and the Beast every few shows or sometimes than Frozen in every show. It makes it more predictable and formulaic in Disney On Ice. Frozen to me is a middle finger to classic Disney films AND Hans Christian Andersen while failing to be a feminist film. Don’t name your villain after the author despite changing the entire story. And thanks to Disney forcing Frozen down our throats, we will NOT accept this hateful Hans Christian Andersen insult as a masterpiece.
