Be sure to watch the extremely close final games where some epic points where played! Cameron Norrie has the flattest backhand in the top 100 averaging under 1200rpm but also has a heavy forehand with comparable spin rates to Andrey Rublev! Average forehand topspin rpm: Norrie = 2900. Rublev = 2850. (source: Baseline Tennis YT - kzbin.info/www/bejne/hJapp32Jjtypm6c) This makes for his opponents see two completely different types of shots depending on which wing he hits from. He's also a lefty. All these elements makes him an especially tricky opponent to face! Please leave a 👍 if you enjoyed and consider subscribing for more Court Level Tennis 🎾

Amazing footage like always my man. I’ll never understand why Rublev gets so frustrated at what seems like completely random times. It’s one thing to take the sport very seriously and another to let it consume you like that

As always, another great video. Love the match play videos the most. Lots to learn on both the technique and tactics side of things

Thanks I appreciate it! It's amazing how much you can learn just by "watching & learning" especially at court level! More to come 🎾

How can he rank this much up with that backhand? Unbelieveable.
@pascalcastellazzi41362 жыл бұрын
Norrie has an immense difference between backhand and forehand. His forehand has as much spin as Nadal's, his backhand is as flat as it can be. This is difficult for opponents.

My thoughts exactly. I kept on shouting add more spin and find angles
@albertcalin4279 Жыл бұрын
@@propgee adding more spin is not always the key especially on fast surfaces like hard/grass courts

How does Norrie control the ball with that kind of backhand?

4 set balls for Norrie been completely wasted by himself) even on practice. It's very funny to watch Andrey's moments of aanger he needs a doctor for sure.
