Same here. New 73 plate Karoq. Connects only for a few seconds, and it's crashing. Contacted support skoda and Germans proposed to reset phone and infotainment. It's still the same. Waiting for another response from them. I will update you on the progress.

I'm so pissed, waited several months for some kind of update and issues to be fixed, but still nothing. Asked Skoda again. Please provide an estimated timeline of the fix release. Samsung is about to release on January the next flagships and those that use S23 series still have issues on a lot of Skoda's. Why is it so hard to build\test\implement ? I have this problem for at least 10 months it is very annoying, my KZbin video reached 10k views and 180+ comments so you can see it is not isolated. Also I notified you that Seat (VW Group) has this working (and without cable). How ? Ask them 🙁. Skoda's first response was that it will be released till the end of summer, than in autumn 🙁. As I chosed Samsung S23 Ultra as it fits my needs so I chosed Scala, and I am very satisfied with the car except this ridiculous issue.

I have an issue with the same system on Skoda Kushaq in India. As soon as my pixel 7 connects to the car music system, the system goes into component protection mode and needs a firce restart. Toll thwn all funtions are disabled including the revwrse camera system. Issue persiatea despite various visits to service station.

I do not think it is fixed. Some claim that some update from Samsung has fixed this, but i do not think so. I no longer own a S22 Ultra but S23 Ultra which still does not work, even though i got the April update.😅. That means April security update.

I unfortunately bought a brand new 10" touch screen stereo with Android auto since my factory one doesn't come with it and my freaking S23 Ultra doesn't connect Via Bluetooth or even usb cable at all. My wife Note 10+ connects right away.

I have Chinese wireles android auto display, my S22ultra connects nicely, but I dont heve there any navigation (in phone there is Google maps, Waze, Sygic installed). Before with Nothing Phone(1) it was working correctly, therefore I thing issue is in Galaxy Ultra, not in car/display.

In my case it was Samsung's attempt to conserve battery. I found some 2yr old post online that it is caused by deepsleep app forcing. As I said, I was using other phone for few days/weeks, therefore Samsung put away all my navi apps. You need to go to settings, apps, and turn off deepsleep completly for navy and probably other apps. AndroidAuto should show those in few seconds or minutes afterwads.

@@cold1fire I think there is android 13 compatibility issue. I used an old s10 with android 13 and it doesn't work as well but when I reset the phone to Android 12 it works fine.

I think it is Skoda, Google has not found a fix and Samsung claims that the car manufacturer has to fix this by updation software.

I got the solution 🎉 Open android auto setting in ur samsung device >go to bottom >keep taping on version untill u get developer option >turn on it > click the 3 dots on top > developer settings > change the mode to developer
