You're a legend! I had to do this on my Hyundai with a new head unit (Junda Navi), the factory code for me was 000000 (six zeros). Same process as your video.

Thanks for the assist... After installing mine and going to that menu it was set to NO CANBUS..... Have to pull the head unit to see what brand I have but tried a couple and found one to work.... Thanks again!!

Mine is set to no canbus and I tried to set up the steering learm to my steering wheel and now when I turn the volume up my unit goes black what do I do? Mine says no protocol on the network can settings and what exactly is network can settings

I can’t get my steering wheel controls to work in my 2012 grand Cherokee at all…was told that it’s the same setting for a 2012 dodge Durango but I don’t see that vehicle listed either in the hikitty canbus

I bought this same radio but I can’t find where it’s even connected in the back. I had a few items that didn’t match on the harnesses that were sent with the radio. Do you have a video showing where you hooked up the steering controls?

I've got the same unit. The steering wheel controls work with the CANbus, but can't bind them. I would highly recommend getting a car launcher. I HATE that default launcher.

Does anyone have any advice I did it through factory setting and it was setup but now when I press on volume up it lags then my unit goes black while the side lights with power and home stay on and my unit will make static noises until i come to a complete stop then to reconnect

If you have a canbus box fitted, go down the list and see if you can find one that works with yours, even if the name is different. Also do a quick ebay search for your vehicle for the canbus box, but make sure the connector is correct. never know someone might be getting rid of just the box.

@@Notalliswhatitseems nice 1 for the reply. I've sorted now, I have a vauxhall vivaro B and the canbus that came with the headunit was a simply soft, this is listed under Xinpu and the vehicle to select was renault. Just FYI for anybody with same problem/vehicle as me.

Hello, I bought the Awsafe V1 Plus and I can't get any sound through my speakers. My original rear view camera only comes on briefly and then goes off again. The black display then says “no signal”. Can you please help me? I bought and connected all adapters, decoders. Thanks

Im not tech support so dont know much, but ill try and help where i can, what car do you have? the camera issue is solved by using a 12v relay, as what tends to happen is the voltage drops off of the break light which is enough to stop the camera working, i had the same and had to wire in a 12 volt relay. for speakers, i can only assume without knowing, that you havent plugged them in correctly, that is just a guess as have no idea how you have wired it up.

I drive a VW Passat B7 and have connected the blue cable from the CanBus plug, the blue cable from the external radio adapter, and the red and yellow cables from the RGB converter. Yes, i did not need to do it in there but before you go in factory settings scroll down. You will find a menu where you can learn stering. It works on my Hyundai i10.

Sound like a faulty unit. I would check wiring, if it is plug and play cables contact place you have buy it from. I got mine from china they was very helpful when I ask questions

Every Canbus I choose just tells me there is not protocol for it. Then won't let me install. And can't get stereo to connect to WiFi.

You need to mess with the camera quality to match with the rear view camera if that makes sense

I had a previous unit that you can select short or long press while configuring the steering wheel but this one doesn't

What do you mean? it should turn off when you exit out of reverse, it should be wired into the brake light live wire.

Should be on that little leaflet (install instructions) that comes with it, if you dont know, just try any combination of 4 numbers, ie 1111, 0000, 8888
