This course is so much better than the official Google course. Thank you for making this free! I'm kinda curious if the Android dev community has migrated from XML files to Jetpack Compose or if there's still a lot of interest in using XML files for views. Jetpack Compose felt much harder to try and learn since there's no editor for app designs. Though, I can see how Jetpack Compose seems more powerful from a programmatic perspective (e.g., generating a bunch of card views from a database).

Just started to follow, pretty impressive about the content, blessing you to keep this up. for a little con, word separating in the speach is reasons for unclear the saying but with 1.5 play back speed it's totally fine to me.

My daughter is 18 years old. With very little Java knowledge. Can she learn the basics of android development using Kotlin in this course and publish apps on google store?
@Anushka_Madusanka2 жыл бұрын
Yes of course. Kotlin is very easier to learn.

Good Evening sir, I myself learning kotlin and android development now(19 years). I would like to learn together with someone who is interested in app dev as much as me.

Sure. No problem with 18 years old. And yeah, you don't need to have much Java knowledge to start learning Kotlin.

I am not able to understand handler thing while building mediaplayer app on day 3. Please explain what is threading
@Anushka_Madusanka2 жыл бұрын
Handler is another class in Android base libraries. We use an object of it with media player . It's just unfamiliarity Abhi. Try to follow the same lesson several time or do the same code several times while searching internet, and you will remember/understand it .
