Hi, love the video. I wanted to know if you were able to connect aux to get video on the overhead dvd? Also, do you think a new aftermarket amp can resolve the sound issue. Or do I need to change the subwoofer. I read somewhere that subwoofer has a small amplifier too.

I purchased one of these units, but the cable ribbon seems missing? The little square hole on the back of the screen was covered with beige tape, and there was no connector ribbon to hook the screen up to the green area on the main unit base?

Are you planning on doing another video with your feedback on the final radio setup in the MDX? Also, does it work with the navigation knob/buttons and the steering wheel buttons?

No the knob does nothing now at least not that i know of but volume button and mode and switching songs with the steeringwheel all work

@@garage_102 i love it, most peoples complaint is jusy that the oem sub no lomger kicks on by I bypass that by using hands free link instead of the new bt system because the amp still kicks on

Thanks for the video. Do you know if diagnostic data can be read on the new Navitech unit because it has the OBD2 plug in? I haven't seen if there's an app that will display it. Thanks.

Nope it only has 2 pins im sure its for swc (steeringwheelcontrol)

Hi @oscar_cu2 I am also trying to do this install, and notice that I have to put the volume at maximum (volume 40) to hear the audio. Do you have the same problem?

@@jaystarkey nope….my installer couldn’t get the volume to go higher compared to to regular radio. In addition when in AUX the sound had interference noise as well which sound horrible. Both the RCA cable was connected to LFR (left front) and RFR (right front) instead of AUX. When connecting to AUX there was no sound at all…..

@@KamWong-o8eI wonder if using hands free link will work? My problem is there doesn’t seem to be a ribbon cable at the back of the screen, so I can’t connect it

@@jaystarkey to be honest I am not too savvy on these radio installs. My did come with a ribbon to connect from screen to “processor” unit. I end up scratching the install at the end since my installer couldn’t get the volume working as expected. I returned my unit a few days ago…….

Did you get an answer to this question? I have the same tech package and the installer is asking the same question. Did you use the Aux/USB button or the HDD button?
