Hello, great video... I also have a device like this that is stuck in the Android boot. I definitely don't have an RST button in the device. Do you know how to get to the factory reset? for carplay issues make sure you have in the tablet hotspot teather activated and in 2.4 ghz. in 5 ghz does not always connect.

KZbin needs to be played direct from the screen by downloading the app on the Google play store. You cannot mirror it from your phone. Sensors may be a setting change you need to make depending on your system version. Contact your retailer for more on that.

Hope you can help me with an issue I am having with the display. I had it installed by your Canadian counterpart. ( INAV at 4x4 shop) The issue is the screen in daylight / time is not in full brightness it sims as if it's in night mode. When I turn my high beams on the screen goes to full brightness, ( kind of reverse of what it should do 😢) any idea if some wires are crossed or some settings need to be changed

@@baby-Bubba The SIM card will provide internet to the screen as long as the sim has an active data plan. You will not be able to use the screen to make phone calls directly. This is only possible with a phone being connected to the screen.

Im trying to plug an aftermarket reverse camera (license plate one) and Im struggling to plug it to what cable ? I only have blue CCD 12v and a pink cable LVDS 12V. Do you know which one ?

CCD will work as video input. You need to wire the rear of the camera wiring into the positive of the reverse light wire in the boot/trunk that's the trigger to tell the screen to switch even in reverse. Earth to body in car boot.

I dont have a DMP Screen as I'm in the UK but got a 12.3" android screen. All features are identical. I've got the OEM split screen up but the large speedo is not showing. Instead there's a tiny white speedo about 2cm in size that shows me a speed so its working but is pretty pointless and looks terrible. Any idea how to fix that pls?

Is there an option for fast boot as I have seen this in other videos but don't seem to have the option on my android 10 unit? It takes about 45 seconds to boot at the moment and is the latest model so it seems very slow.

In the settings you should be able to increase the sound. I had the same problem and toggling that audio setting to 100 fixed it.

I got rid of mine by playing around with the Car Display field in the Factory Settings. You probably have it set to half screen. If you switch it to something that doesn't say half screen it will keep the NTG only. One thing to note is that it will stretch your NTG display to fit the screen so it will look a little strange.

using vlc app for videos, there is a way to sync sound & image, this appens because usb aux input. on comand radio can plug jack aux and code to activate and should work fine

Hi, I am having several issues but let's start with the screen resolution, I have a 2012 w212 with NTG 4.0 I have set the can protocol to NTG 4.0 but cannot get screen resolution above 400x240. when I do when I open NTG menu on the main screen It either goes blank and after a few seconds reverts back to the main screen or I get green vertical lines on the screen and have to tap screen to return. Has anyone experienced the issue where no low end frequencies ( bass) is playing from the headunit? This is happening when using carplay or connected directly to the unit via Bluetooth. Ive tried playing music directly connected to the aux which causes an echo and also tested the speakers with a cd to make sure it wasn't my own system. any ideas?

Found the solution for this. There’s a small chip that comes with the kit. It has to be replaced with the one currently connected to the harness

Bought a similiar screen for my CLA NTG 5.0, everything works fine until now haven't fully tested everything yet. Once issue i found when hitting it on Reverse camera wouldnt switch to OEM. Needed to change protocol. But now got a strange issue regarding the sound. Sound works fine, even with Carplay. But the moment i get a phone call or try to call someone, there is no sound. The person hears me, it picks the OEM microphone but no sound. Any help? Perhaps somebody faced the same issue?

that box is called dsp and only the screen seller can give you the right one for your screen. if you use vlc player you can adjust sound and watch films fine

Please clarify what you mean by android mode. When you put your vehicle in reverse, the screen should automatically go into the reverse camera
