Android timelapse - One day in one minute

A timelapse made on 21st June 2012 with an android phone app. 21st June is the summer solstice, which is the day with most sunlight of the year. Consists of 1800 pictures. There are 1440 minutes in a day, so this is speeded up 1440 times.

Which model did you use to film this video? How can you manage to film for whole day without running out of battery?

I used Galaxy mini, an old crappy low-end phone with 2 GB of storage. But I didn't film, I only took pictures. It says in the descritpion

He did using a phone running android :). 4.2 has it build in. I don't know about 4.1
