I had the original Moto x pure edition customized for almost a year without any problems. The software that Motorola has implemented with this device has truly changed the way people interact with their smart phones. I could never see myself purchasing another device without the features of the Moto x. Motorola also have great customer service and RMA. Once they started pushing out Android L to this device I received an OTA to update. Once I downloaded the new operating system my phone was running great. Then a week later out of the blue my phone started running hot and the screen would not come on. So I went online to the support site and explained my situation. A few hours later I received an email with my RMA#, and the next day I received another email with a shipping label attached. I sent my phone to Motorola free shipping (FedEx from Motorola) to the RMA department. Once my phone was delivered and the repair department analyzed the phone and realized it was a problem that couldn't be repaired, I received a call stating that they couldn't send me a new 2013 Moto x and that I would be getting an upgrade at no charge. So after about a week later, I received another email stating that my code to go to the Moto Maker website to create my 2014 Moto x was ready. I had to call a number that they provided in the email to receive the code, I was very excited about this so I called and received my code and went to Moto Maker and customized my phone free of charge with free shipping. So i'll have this phone for a month until the Moto x Pure edition 2015 comes out and i'll be upgrading to this phone. I apologize for the long comment, but I just had to share my great experience with Motorola.

Well I'm sold. I was planning on getting the LG G4 due to Micro SD card expansion and swappable battery. But this not only has Micro SD card expansion but also water resistance, turbo charging capabilities, near stock Android, a front facing flash, and customizable! Motorola, shut up and take my money! Plus $399.99 is very reasonable for unlocked. I can sell my Samsung Galaxy S5 on eBay and cover over half of the Moto's retail price.

People are making insanely quick judgements between the 1+2 and this phone. Since novone has really spent enough time with either phone to test it's user experience, the debate between which is better is ultimately redundant. Ultimately which phone is better will boil down to which one is better to use and not the spec sheets.

Oooh.. i always love amoled display which so vivid and punch our eyes.. and actually like samsung did.. they gave options to choose the display(software), so you can always make it like an IPS with true colors, in addition you still have a choice to make it pop out.. win win solution :D

The Moto X Play looks great, and it won't be expensive, but I have a question. If you buy a device, which has a non-removable battery, and it will freeze, what can you do??? For example, my current G3 had freeze yesterday. It was a huge problem? No, because I can remove the battery...

I mean don't let you have any lotion on your hands that 6" will just slip right out of your hand. I think Motorola did a great job making the size more manageable for some people who couldn't take it before.

DAProductions I think the Oneplus 2 will have better battery life since it has a higher capacity and a lower resolution screen. Idk which is better for the camera though. The OP2 has bigger pixel size to let in more light, it has OIS, and it has laser auto focus. But the moto x style has a more megapixels, a bigger sensor, and its front facing camera has flash.
