Great to see Chet again! I still remember Doris Liu's first appearance on the podcast (around 2021), and she used to laugh a lot back then. Like, A LOT, on microphone. It didn't bother me much but was a bit funny 😅 She's still as joyous, but a lot more composed, great to see the improvement!

This was a really enjoyable episode. Great to see Chet and Doris. I've following the development of LookaheadLayout and it's awesome that they got it done!

@@GrantKemp-ku1gc While that's true, it's mostly used to represent physics-based animations (and it's basically the default in most Compose Animation APIs). Because it's physics-based, it has parameters to control damping, as well as bounciness, allowing you to add a subtle (or BIG, if you wish, it's very customizable) bounce effect. When you create a spring(), by default it has no bounce, and a moderate damping value, making for very natural animation slopes (which is why it's the default instead of Duration-based APIs like tween())
