Such deep sustained emotion and seemingly effortless artistry. He IS a national treasure. When I saw him at Les Lilas, just outside Paris, he came on stage wearing long hair, and pausing slightly after introducing the other musicians, said,"...And I'm Little Richard" ! I almost died laughing. The music was exceptional for the whole evening, from 'Caravan' to 'I Remember April' to 'Never Let Me Go,' which was so intense my husband actually cried!

This song is 'Like a Lover' in English, but it is also known under the Brazilian title, 'O Cantador,' by the Brazilian Dori Caymmi, whatever the title.
