Oh, I'm sorry Paula!! I suppose IKEA is similar to any other very large department or big box store - filled with all kinds of stuff and a "tad overwhelming". This was so much fun to watch. I can't imagine the other shoppers and what they thought of you flitting around the store and you peeking from behind the merchandise. Once they saw the camera though, I'll bet they started to laugh as well. That chest of drawers you saw, (pine), looked really nice, but wasn't deep enough, it seemed, to really hold what a dresser needs to hold. Wouldn't make much profit from that one. This gave me a grin. Hubby and I recently had to navigate the vast IKEA space in search of a shelving unit for MIL. He had never been to IKEA territory before and I warned him of the treacherous terrain. We came armed with the item name and number and interrogated several IKEA crew members before finally emerging with said shelving unit (which was perfect for her space). We also acquired some meatballs and potato cakes. That seems to be a requirement before they will release you. 🤣🤣🤣

I have the identical kitchen cabinets. I live in a very small rental apartment, and a cabinet paint makeover would be great, but no way am I putting any energy into that. So much fun! Arrows or not I always get lost I wish we had an Ikea. I go to a doctor located 2 hours away. An ikea is 1/2 hour from the doctor. Good enough for me. It's like ikea is a reward. Otherwise, I have to go to San Diego. It's farther away but hey, it's San Diego, so there's that. Ikea is out of stock on a plethora of items.

Funny timing, I have made 2 purchases there recently… the first of which was my maiden voyage on the Click & Collect ride, which I highly recommend. I love the green kitchen cabinets! Was the first officer’s show of good taste a hint on a future episode???
