What I love most about this family is that they were very supportive of Andy. They sang backup vocals on many of his songs. They loved him so much, when he wanted to strike out on his own, they didn't hold him back.

At 11:30 PM (NY time) was a show called "In Concert" Similar format. At 1:00 AM The Midnight Special came on. That was some of the best 2.5 hrs. of TV music!

Jim Frederick Lucky you Jim! It wasn’t played in Australia & I would’ve been too young to watch it anyway. Only came across them about 2005 & joined one of those “buy one DVD per month” schemes. It’s the only one of those things I didn’t regret buying! The Midnight Special recordings are an excellent monument to the 70’s✌️🇦🇺🙃

You're right, Jayvonne. He's like a clone of Barry. Not just in looks, but his voice, too. I just recently saw a documentary about the Bee Gees that said they had plans to bring him into the group. That would have been AWESOME! (On one of their tours, they DID have him on stage with them, and he sang with them on at least one of their songs.) I'm so glad you listened to this, and that you like it, too.

They were so proud of their younger brother and were heartbroken when he passed, in his way he was as talented as his brothers and they would be the first to say so. This is live and Andy is by himself with his band. He was so talented, as are his his big brothers. He passed so young, "wasted talent" fits Andy as he had so much more music left to give us. "Shadow Dancing" is his best song in my opinion with his 3 big brothers singing background and it's awesome. It's so cool watching younger folks like you discovering the Bee Gees and Andy, they were in a class of one, nobody has ever, or will ever sound like them, unique, distinctive and just plain pure talent. RIP Andy, Mo and Robin and Godspeed Barry.

Oh, my heart! He was my crush when I was a teen in the 80's. I was a senior in high school when he died. I cried all day that day. So charming and so damn gorgeous! Brings tears to my eyes watching this.

My favorite song by Andy Gibb . His passing made me and so many others so sad . I was 11 had his posters on my bedroom wall ( still have one). He died way too young sadly from abuse of alcohol and cocaine which caused him to go into heart failure. He tried stopping but his addiction sadly took over. I adored him RIP ANDY , MAURICE AND ROBIN GIBB , you all gave so much happiness to SO MANY OF US .🙏❤️🙏

I had the biggest crush on Andy Gibb as a teen back then. I still remember having my ear glued to the radio New Years Eve top music countdown when this song was named top song of the year. Very sad when he passed away. He had a lot of personal issues including drugs. His brothers apparently always said he died of a broken heart for he also had been dealing with a bad breakup with a very popular tv actress at the time. RIP Andy ❤️🙏🏼

Andy Gibb was so handsome and talented. The Gibb family was so talented. He dated Victoria Principal who played on the TV show Dallas. I thought they were just the cutest couple ever. Such a tragedy that he died so young. Barry Gibb is the only brother living and you can tell how hurt he is without his brothers. I saw an interview that said that when each of his brothers passed, they were not in the best place. That has to be the hardest thing when you lose someone and you’re not in a good space at the time of their passing.

If you put Andy's picture up next to a picture of Barry in 1967, it would be hard to tell them apart. My heart goes out to Barry. With the passing of Robin and Maurice Gibbl the other 2 members of the BeeGees, he is the only Gibb brother left.

Oh the memories! My first boyfriend looked just like Andy with a military style haircut! He got asked so many times that we finally went along with it, he pored on an English accent, said he just wanted to be incognito! How lucky was I? Anyway, it just thrills me to watch you discover my music and accept and love it so much. I become as giddy and excited as you are since I know what is coming and I know you are going to love it! I was honored to teach my daughter's about good music and thought that would be over since they are grown and out of the house, but now when I need to feel worthy and purposeful, I watch you so I get that vindication.
