I was never a Hug fan untill one day I sat down and watch his entire career. If I could I would love to have spent a day with the man. The K1 was a big part of my teenage years watching it and all and never did I once pay attention to Andy Hug, boy was I wrong. LONG LIVE THE MEMORY OF ANDY HUG! the blue eyed Samurai. Rest in peace. What an inspiration, athlete, sportsman, human being. Never did he fear another opponent nor did he disrespect them in any matter. I dont believe he had the best of any attributes a fighter could have, I believe he just had Greatness within him that showed everytime he competed OR was in the public eye. R.I.P great warrior.

In memory of the late Andy Hug ... the blue-eyed Samurai. Like Bruce Lee before him ... his legend lives on. Like Bruce Lee, Andy Hug was also born in the Year of the Dragon. And they both passed away in their 30's. Only the good die young.

Such a Terrible Tragedy! It was soo sudden, 1 month after his last fight victory!
