Andy Hull? What an absolute wonderful surprise. Been listening to him for well over a decade on all his projects. Amazing artist!

Andy Hull's music has helped me heal through so much trauma and I've seen manchester orchestra twice by far the best live performance I've witnessed. It's a life changing experience

Saw him and Rob do an acoustic set last October. Brilliant gig, and they're both so funny. I've got a couple of videos of it uploaded on here. Andy's voice is just perfect. ❤

I just want to say that the first time I saw MO live they became my favorite band, and still are. That importance of the live experience they're talking about around the 20 minute mark has never been lost on those guys. If you haven't seen them, they have only gotten better every year over the last 20 years

Met Andy before a show years ago during the Simple Math tour I think. He was quiet but very nice and dryly funny. And took pictures and stood around and talked to us for a while. Still have the pic on my facebook. One of my favorite memories.

I can still remember when i first heard the song 'top notch' about 10 years ago. They played it on triple j here in Australia, it reminded me of the smashing pumpkins and I was instantly a fan. Loved them ever since.

This interview is superb. As a huge fan of Andy and MO since the very first albums/uk tour, it's really fulfilling to hear him speak in a way that re-enforces what you hope is inside - if that makes sense. A pure artist, the greatest songwriter in history IMO, but also a man who knows what his work means to the people he serves it to, and respects that, because it is life-changing to so many. Which is fucking cool.

Great show. Interesting to hear Andy has found solace in video games, I have always used them as a reward system and a respite. He should try Red Dead 2 next, the Daniel Lanois soundtrack alone is worth it :)

Hahah…I love Pete, but that is true. I love interviewers that let the guest talk a lot. Just let the guest go. But…as long as I can just accept that premise with Pete, I’ll let it go. He also catches and calls himself out a lot, so I appreciate it that he knows it

I disagree. This isn’t a traditional interview, it’s a conversation between two people and I don’t think there’s anything wrong with him adding to the conversation. I really liked what he added and it brought out a different side of Andy that I haven’t really seen much of before because traditional interviews are so boring. I thought it was a great interview
