the song title is so fitting. when hearing this i am thinking about a person who just experienced a loss of a loved one and is depressed, but at the same time also has a feeling happiness cause of all the beautiful memories he shared with the person. I love it when instrumental music says more than a thousand words.

Also notice the non existence of his pinky in his playing. That limitation and how he adapts his playing makes him even more skillful in my eyes
@ZFlyingVLover7 жыл бұрын
no. Playing without your pinky is easier but not an option for alot of people who don't have long fingers or big hands. Those ppl have to make things work WITH a pinky that is alot weaker and less obedient than your other 3 fingers.

I loved him deeply, and even though there are no words in this mesmerizing masterpiece, I was able to understand it way more than before, as if it's speaking to me in language I know not yet how to speak, it helped me a lot through these painful days I just passed , thank u @andyjames

I have a seperate interpretation of this music...to me it tells the story of a person who has suffered losses,broken down and has been betrayed...then the chorus says how he overcame all that...the second stanza continues to tell the stories of his victories all of them fueled by his failures and betrayals...ITS THE SONG OF THE PHOENIX.... Great composition...very inspirational!!!

"The longer I live, the more urgent it seems to me to endure and transcribe the whole dictation of existence up to its end; for it might just be the case that only the very last sentence contains that small and possibly inconspicuous word through which everything we had struggled to learn and everything we had failed to understand will be transformed suddenly into magnificent sense. And who can be sure if in the realm of the beyond it might not somehow matter that here we had reached precisely that end that was ultimately meant for us? There is no certainty that new challenges might not confront us on the other side even if we were to willfully flee from here completely exhausted-challenges that the soul, finding itself shaken, and without having been either summoned or prepared, would face with an inescapable and tormenting sense of shame.” - Rainer Maria Rilke

Use RiffStation dude you will cover much of it within four hours of focused time with it. See if you can play it at 101 bpm. If you can play this music file at two thirds speed, you will hear the fluid and rhythmic perfection in each vibrato. Once this track grew on me, it hit me hard how much AJ has continued to perfect his craft. This is masterful and aptly named, sounds like the feeling you get in the pit your stomach when you realize your dog is never coming back again or something like that - perfect song title.

Idk if this has been said, but I’ve thought it for a while. He’s not just Melodic, but he’s Lyrical, and his music stands out from other players, and works by itself without a lead singer, or anything. I can listen to almost anything he’s made, and be blown away every time, and that’s bad ass!
