I remember when that happens on the David Letterman show . Just the Elivs Conspiracy . You never know ..!! I remember watching him on Saturday night live and Taxi . But the Elivs impersonator was the greatest . Elivs , said you better get it right boy...!! And he laughed !! 😂 Great vlog . Glad I found it !!

Jordan: First time viewer. Found this channel on an Andy Kaufman binge. The way I see it, Andy Kaufman is truly dead. Yes, he said some cryptic things that have led some to believe that he might have faked his death, but that's really where Andy's genius comes in. In normal comedy, the joke is set up with proper timing, delivery and ultimately a punch line that results in laughter, if the joke is done properly. Contrast this with Andy's performances, which often left the uninitiated baffled and confused. Andy was not a person who was big on punch lines. His "apology" for the Fridays incident was played straight, with no discernible punch line at all. He even feigned confusion at everyone's laughter and said that it was in poor taste. Wouldn't it be like him to use his own death to set up the ultimate joke? He leaves a bunch of strange documents behind. He gets his friends and family to feed this line about the gag having a maximum life of 30 years. Then, after the 30 years have come and gone (5 years ago this year), people are waiting and waiting and waiting for him to make a reappearance. They're waiting for a punchline that will never come, because that's what he was good at. As much as it pains me to say it, Andy is dead. He left this world wanting us to always wonder if he was going to resurface some day, because he would have found it all funny as hell.

As much as I liked Andy, sadly he is gone. I remember Carol Kane, that was his wife or gf on taxi. At the funeral actually poked him with her finger in the casket, to be sure he was dead. She thought for sure it was one of his bits. There's a video of Danny DeVito Talking about that. Like Danny said, Andy would love that we are talking about this, as in fooling everyone until the end.

Andy didn't smoke or drink. He was a vegetarian too. He also did like performing oral sex. However, Tony Clifton ate steaks and burgers, smoked, drank, and also liked doing that other thing I mentioned. Some psychologists have said that there is a possibility of a real split personality when Tony Clifton was around. A true psychological break.
@treywest2683 жыл бұрын
He also got laid a lot with his wrestling. He would be whispering in their ears about what it would be like to sleep with a celebrity. According to Bob Zmuda in his book, they actually had to tape a certain part of Andy's anatomy down for his wrestling shtick as sometimes certain things became noticeable.
